    Rainbow,

    How are your bowels?

Dandelion root is very poweful cleanser and detoxifier. I would suggest only 1 oz a day.

    Greens are liver friendly.

Concentrated forms of cleansing aside from eating, can be drying to the organs so use conseratively.

    Herb: Red clover

Excess mucous in intesinte and organs for removal is helpful. The raw eating not only hs the bulk and fiber to rid carry out the toxins and such but it also aids in creatinga healthy terrain for the stoamch bacteria/health bowels.

you could also try a day or two of eating lemons, grapefruits, and oranges if you can handle all the citrus.....it is a good way to cleanse and still enjoy yummy fruit

Ah, yes Rainbow that is right you are still fasting. When you come off the fast, toxins etc are still floating so how you eat will help move them down via colon. How are you feeling better?

Elizabeth finished her 10 day water fast!

I am slowly transitioning into foods.......did a smoothie a few days ago and added juices. I will have solid starting tomorrow.

    Keep me posted!! :)

Default I did mistake feel sick..go back to juice this evening

    Hi Linda,

I did mistake for ending my fast . I did 51-day of juice fasting (first 20-day, I did not stain my juice due to the ignorance). So I won't count 51 days.

I took a salad and a two times of chinese herb (I got it before from my CHinese doctor for my liver and kidney). IT WAS a mistake, I am feeling pain day long like metal inside. I began to have several diarrhea now and feel weak. I stop chinese herbs. and will be back to juice from this evening.
After I feel stable, I will introduce my food by green smoothies, such as use one smoothie to replace one juice meal...then two smoothies... after I accept smoothies, start salad..

My two mistakes put me in such suffering.....

    Breaking fast is so important..

Wish all the other fasters are fine with their ending the fast..

Lina, I have question for you:

According to TCM, we should not eat too much raw and cold food, becuase it is very bad to spleen. then will inflence to kidney, then liver.
All the food have nutritions as well as characteristics of climats (cold, warm, hot..). Food changes its characteristics after cooking. I feel very struggling with this conflicts.
Could we combile TCM philosophy with Raw food?

I would like to find a way for this...Do yo have something to share with me?

    Many thanks for your support,
    with blessing

    rainbow (!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Chinese herbs while fasting????????? Oh god, i wish i had known to stop you----did he know you were fasting and what did he give you?

what symptoms do you suffer from???

yes, that philosophy about spleen,liver/kidneys is what i have been working on--i ignore the cooking part of chinese philosophy. Spleen takes the purified water and evaporate into lungs and the energy from foods to disperse. so when liver is sluggish, spleen is sluggish too.

when you look in mirror, you left side of tongue, any dark spots or a little while coating on sides?

so if yam is good for spleen than I make it into a soup with a little coconut milk and warm water add CHI spice like cardamom. that way the spices gives life force to yam. life force meaning to flow in the body. not meaning alive (as in enzymes)

this is what ifind to be helpful........

i always keep hands, feet and neck warm.

    i only consume warm water

    added "spices" ginger,cayenne,cardamom

i avoid melons, excess citrus until i am strenghtened

LIVER has to be detoxed and strengthend to have healthy spleen.

    Accupressure on spleen pts

i keep fruits and veggies at room temp. excess juices create dampness. bitter veggies divert the dampness.

excess sugars are dampening too. i will warm my spinach not cook but warm it and add a little cayenne.

too many salads make me damp too.

i always eat in a warm environment

I created this for my health issues so it may not be good for you depending on diagnosis.

    :)

I'm on my 4th day of juice fasting. I've been Raw for 5 months now 6 in March, but I decided to do a 2 week juice fasting. I'm currently drinking E3 Live, (Kale, Spinach, Parsley Beet, Lemon, Ginger Juice), Coconut Juice, Carrot Juice, and (Apple, Lemon, Ginger, Cayenne Juice)....and of course water. Feeling good, I haven't had any bad crisis or anything yet.

    Dear Linda,

Thank you for your reply!!! I am very happy to know some Asain raw food people.
If you can be raw, I can also. (some Chinese doctor said to me that Westerns eat a lot of meat from generation to generation and they have too much yang inside, so raw can balance. We chinese eat a lot vegetables and do not have so much yang as they have. So they are against raw. I do not agree but I would like to experience).

Me too, I start to warm my raw food. If the juice is too cold, I retain in my mouth for a while.

My medince was prescribed one year ago. I do not know what it was inside.
It was a big mistake to take that one. I felt weak afterwards, in fact, I felt very strong physically during fast.

I am thinking of doing some body building up and then back to fasting again.
My detoxification was not finished when I broke my fast..

You know so many things.. I copy your message so I can practice later..

Thanks a lot! and with light and blessing

You can learn a lot from examining the ingredients of commercial cleansing formulas. Burdock is one ingredient which frequently appears in liver-cleansing formulas, for example. That and dandelion, which is highly diuretic and mineral-rich.

    Rainbow....Nee-how-ma!!!?!!?!!!

Try not to do too many different things to liver--body really sensitive. You can over dry organs with over cleansing...

I don't know if you're chinese doctor told you but herbs after 3 months become not good for body ,kind of like toxic (this is the best way I can describe for now)so that's why the herbs are stopped after a certain point.

need to have CHI like ginger or ginseng to move the herb in the body. Make sense?

Why do you take medecine? what for?

Don't worry about stopping your fast. Even though you are eating, the body still had toxins floating and the food will carry it out.

I am doing really really good and healing IT'S INCREDIBLE!

Arky, thank you for the tip! :)

Piedepiper, Welcome adn congrats on your fast! It shows? :)

Don't forget wheatgrass juice, too. Wigmore followers swear by it's detoxing abilities, taken both orally and rectally (i.e. enemas).
