    Smile It's over between us.........Ha!

I went to the NHF coop, today and decided that I could treat myself to ANYTHING in the ENTIRE store today that I wanted. I could choose ANY item. I looked and looked and looked and not a thing interested me.......not a thing....don't get me wrong, I did get a lukewarm reaction to the deli egg salad and the deli stuffed grape leaves, but that only held my interest for a few seconds and then a quiet nahhh escaped my lips.......I left the store and then I discovered that it was time, time to say goodbye.....to admit.......that it was over between us......my relationship with SAD was forever changed today and I realized that I had let go.....I said my goodbyes as I was driving the short couple of miles to my house........it was a very long relationship, many years of pain, emotional ups and downs, a rollercoaster of constipation, weight loss, weight gain, weight loss, weight gain, pleasures of the tastebuds, but it was all gone, disappeared because I had met another, a true love that knows how I and my body like to be treated......one who knows the true meaning of life........one who knows the raw truth.....the living foods diet.........at last, my true love...........he he he

    Hi Everyone,

    Karen,

One of the best posts I've read in quite some time.

Thank you all for the compliments on my creative writing. I was mostly being funny when I wrote this thread, but I also truly was thinking after my non-shopping binge that it was over between me and SAD. It really is like I am just finding better and tastier stuff to eat. You know you're a raw foodist when the Dulse flakes sound better than a pot pie.LOL

I know you wrote this post with humor, Karen is Raw, but it is still profound. It's great, that you're able to let go and that it feels so natural to do so. I can recognize some of those feelings in myself. There's lots of cooked food that I don't want to eat anymore. It just doesn't appeal to me.

Great post really! I can see what you mean, much of what was good before is not half as good now.. I'm loving every minute of it! It made me smile though, to see it so humorously written down..
