    Default Cellulite and 100%?

After being raw for 7 months, I have had problems on my left leg with cellulite, and don't get me wrong, but since I work out everyday (switch between running and lifting weights), I can't help but think that at my age I should NOT have cellulite; however, the more I seem to lift weights, the more apparent this cellulite becomes! YIIIKKKKEES!!! I bought a skin brush and have been skin brushing...no results. I bought essential oils (cypress and lemon) and have been rubbing them on my leg...no results. I am thinking it could be a muscle or joint problem but I am not sure. I am a small-figured girl so this is extremely akward for me. A good friend gave me some advice to take MSM or Vitalzene. Does anyone else have any other suggestions. I just can't get over the fact that it shouldn't be there!

Thanks everyone.... Have a great day/night!

    Vandy,

Celulite is toxins stored in fat cells. Just within the last couple of weeks I read something that said they are actually tiny tumors. Wondering if that was Dr Graham. Doesn't matter. Point is if you have them now and are totally raw, then you had them before and they were just not visible. As the toxins leave your body forever with raw they will vanish. Like spring housecleaning, it looks horrible then great.

    Here it is:

Cellulite is a form of fatty-cell tumor that will typically resolve through the lowering of body fat and toxic levels. Dr D

So does that mean that it will get worse but with time it will go away? Let's hope so! Thanks Teri!

SO all this is speculation..but BEST info I have ever come across is from Murad. He has a great book THE CELLULIT SOLUTION. worth the buy.

Cellulite is cell damage connective tissue damage and so much more. It must be treated INTERNALLY (as well as external brushing and hydration) with Lecithin, Antioxidents like gogi is good...and so much more..diet RAW time...and exercis eis not the answer, though it helps. I have to really be very careful and watchful ...I have worked out 18 years, competed..watched my bodyfat and I start to see it at times when I gain a few winter pounds it starts to show, then I get on it asap. Check out my Journal and you will say her cellulite issues ? Also it is somewhat genetic. My twin and older sister battle it..and they are both thinner than me and my twin is a runner...

    Check out.... http://www.murad.com/cellulite/what-is-cellulite.html

OH BTW you can do his recommendations from the Book WITHOUT BUYING ANY MURAD PRODUCTS..he does not even mention his products in the book !!

goal is to see this go down 3% (as they are not as accurate as they are consistant ! )

One of the best ways to release stored toxins is to alkalinize (organic vegetables are reasonably high in alkaline minerals but it will still take some time for you to alkalinize simply by eating them, alone).

Another good approach to releasing stored toxins is to ensure excellent cellular hydration.

You might consider investing in a water ionizer, since these not only purify water - they also reduce water cluster size, thus reducing water surface tension and consequently enabling more efficient hydration. Furthermore, the process of ionization actually seperates the acid minerals from the alkaline minerals in the water, meaning you can consume water that has it's alkalinity quite accurately controlled - consuming alkaline water assists the body in breaking down and eliminating stored acid toxins which the body has hitherto been unable to deal with under the 'acid-forming assault' of various non-alkaline-forming foods and stress etc.

Arky..do you use a one of these water purifier/alkaline machines ? If so what benefits have you seen ?

From a chemist point of view there is no benefit to them, its a lengthy study on the subject. Some chemist state these machines are purely marketing.

Pure water is perfectly PH balanced and the jury is still out on the use of these machines to make water alkaline, Pure Water being perfect for the body function. There are even some who believe acidic water is more hydrating.

I guess the key is too read read research on this and then decided if it is worth the investment.

Rawfigure - Thank you for the article. I'm a little confused still about what to do I wish some of the explanation would have provided more common solutions.

    Vandy,

Now that your post is over 2 months old, I'm wondering if / how this issue has resolved itself for you. I've been noticing the same problem lately, after high raw for over month followed by 100% for almost a month. Could you fill me in?

It's still there... it's a very tiny patch though... I figure this is where my body likes to store toxins. I hear that if I did an intensive fast that it would probably go away; however, I can't afford to lose the weight. I am just gonna let my body do its thing, and eventually, and hopefully, it will DISAPPEAR!!!

Maybe if you massage the area? Maybe that would bring blood flow and oxygen there and maybe it would help to break the cellulite up. Maybe your body could dispose of it more easily then? I've read a few things that say that help. Who knows really.

I agree with the above posters. One question...do you eat organic? You may be doing 100% raw and getting a lot of toxins out, but there are a bunch of toxins in the pesticides and stuff they spray on the non-organic produce. That could be having an affect?
