I just got back from a late night visit w/the vet. My toy poodle "Casey Marie" has had some intestinal troubles for a few days now.They are doing bloodwork to check for something serious, but we think it is the equivilant of adult "Irritable Bowel Syndrome." We don't think it is serious, as she is still very active-even at 12 1/2 years of age.
He wants me to be sure to give her eye droppers of water & I was thinking maybe coconut water would be even better. She has had some "runs" ( please excuse the grossness.)..& I think this would be good for her electrolytes.
Has anyone tried coconut water for their pets? Just curious???
