    Default Jack Lalannes Juicer question

I just bought my first juicer (Jack Lalanne's) and it seems to take forever for the veggies to juice. I watched the infomercial online and the juice was coming out of the spout much quicker than mine does. Is this typical?

    Thanks!!

this was my first juicer too!! (i have a champion now). Mine does come out fast but I HAVE TONS of leftovers/pulp vs my champion. A pound to an ounce.so I would in time invest in a better juicer to save some $$$ in the long run on produce, esp if you buy organic!
Wait for the miracle to happen!!!~~ DO NOT QUIT!! :)

Hi, if you just bought the juicer from the TV add...I would return it. I didn't care for our's either. We have a champion juicer and it is great and less to clean up.

    Good Luck,

Hello I also had that juicer. My mother has had hers for almost 3 years but she is gentle with it. I have a breville you can get it at dillards for 150. I never turn it on high though. It's a good one.

    Talking Green Star 2000

I got a Green Star 2000 for Christmas. I talked my family into all pitching in $ instead of buying separate gifts. I LOVE it. I make a "green lemonade" about twice a week and vacuum it into mason jars and store in the fridge. This juicer will do wheat grass and nut butter without over heating the ingredients. It is pricy but boy is it heavy and solid.

Green Lemonade-- originally from THe Raw food detox diet book (I have changed it a bit to suit our taste so this is my version)
    2 heads of Romaine lettuce
2 bunches of kale (or 1 kale and 1 chard)
    5-6 juicer carrots
    3 apples
2 lemons (I put the whole thing through)

I strain it and mix it and WOW is it good!
