Jack la Laine juicer

Hello!!

Has anyone bought and used the Jack La Lane juicer? I saw an Informercial about the wonders and the power of this juicer and I am so interested. Matter of fact Kohl's department store which is 2 miles from my home actually has one and they are selling it for 100.

Any feedback before I spend 100 on a juicer? Thanks much and peace.

I have the power juicer...I think you find that a lot of people in here have a whole variety (omega, champion,etc.) I like jack's power juicer; so far so good. I switched to it from my old one solely because I desired a wider chute..now I just put my fruits and veggies in whole...on the infomercial it was said to produce less pulp than most commercial brands...honestly I really can't tell a difference in that department...but I have not had any problems to date (had it for 3 years so far). I will probably get something later on for wheatgrass specifically, but for now, I am satisfied with my power juicer...it is a time saver; and cleanup is simple......

While I know I'm not the authority on the subject seeing as how it's the first and only juicer I've ever owned, it has served me well over the last year.

I have had moments where I was juicing kale and the motor seemed a little strained, but it hasn't affected the function of the juicer in any way. It's done so well that I find myself wondering if I'll ever bother spending more for an expensive fancy juicer, if it ever goes out on me I'll probably just replace it with the same thing.

I am curious to know what the difference is between this and the more expensive ones, I hope someone else can clue us in.

I was going to get one, but I heard from several people that some sort of newer model that is out is not as high quality as the old ones used to be...so I would watch out for that.

I use the Jack La Lane juicer and I love it it is easy to clean and has juiced everything that I need juiced except wheat grass. My sister has the champion and she says it is so hard to clean that it take awhile to do all the gears.

I've had my JL Power Juicer for 1 yr and 2 months and have not had problems like breakage or anything. The only concern I have is I can't juice wheatgrass effectively. All thin and wavy greens have to be bunched into a ball. Better yet best to do it with solids like celery. Overall, I love it........I jsut hate cleaning it.

I had the Juiceman and gave it up when I got my Jack LaLane. To me the JL was easier to use and easier to clean up. But both worked fine, honestly.

we like ours... had it a about a year or so now. used to use it a LOT and for some reason lost the habit. my "not that interested in raw" hubby-type started reading Real World - Raw Food and saw a few juices he wanted to try... it has not been put away since!

it is a bit of a ***** to clean, but does a great job for the price. greens can be a bit of a problem, but for apples, pears, carrots and the like it works great.

I also have the JL juicer and I LOVE IT!!!!! It's not terribly hard to clean and does exactly what I need it to do!!! It's awesome! Good luck!

I bought a more expensive model-which I love...but I wish I would have bought his...just to give him the money. Maybe I'll buy one for a gift. He -and the "Juiceman"-who I have owned a few) have done a lot to educate others regarding juicing.

PS...If you ever get a chance to check out his show on espn...it's his classic exercize show from maybe the 60's...Jack was way ahead of his time.
