    Smile recently raw

Hello everyone! I am new to this sight and to raw living. I have been raw for about 2 months now, although I have messed up here and there, and I am still in the learning process. I am a recovering eating disorder victim. I use the word victim because I always saw food as the "enemy", now I look at it totally diferent. I have never felt better in my life and I owe it to raw and living foods.I have a few question I would like to ask so here goes....

    1) should I only be eating organic fruits and vegs?
    2) will too many nuts or cocnuts be hindering my weight loss?
    3) I find that putting all of my ingredients into my food processer is so esay that I don't dehydrate anything, should I be or is a "soupy" salad ok?

    Thanks in advance, melis

    Hi melis,
    Welcome!
    Ok here you go:
#1 Yes!!! This is so important; otherwise you will be eating pesticides and chemicals. So whenever possible eat most of your fruits and veggies organic.
There are certain ones that are worse then others like strawberries, peaches, are really bad. I eat avocados that are not organic if i canÂ’t find them.
#2 doesnÂ’t worry about that at first but then watch the nuts. Coconuts, avocados, etc.. Are better fats then nuts that are very mucus forming.
#3if you donÂ’t feel like you need a dehydrator all the better, the freshest raw you can do as in fruits and vegetables the better. So yes, a soupy salad is ok.

    Keep up the great work!

    Hi melis,
    Just my two cents,
I LOVE my dehydrator, it just gives you so many more options and i feel like it has really helped to keep me raw.
The crackers have saved me and some of the other recipes that are a bit heavier for days when i really need that!
