!!!!
I am afraid of one thing--since I have only been raw for about a month my body still has plenty of detoxing to do. While my body is naturally detoxing all that stuff may be floating around in my body

Congratulations! That is fantastic! You can do it raw. That is so awesome. Keep us updated on your progress. Your doc will probably not be happy about your diet. Ignore him if you can, as long as the baby is progressing at a healthy rate.
Don't worry about what is leftover from SAD. I have 6 healthy, happy, intelligent children. I was pregnant with all of them on SAD, very sad, pickles, ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, lots of mexican food.

congratulations to you and your hubby! what wonderful news! you sound very strong and undoubtedly will do great thru the whole experience even though some of it will be without him. this site will be a great source of inspiration and support esp. when you need raw options when cravings come! and they will!!
i was not raw throughout my pregnancy but did do a 3 week detox while breastfeeding her when she was 7-8 months and it was a big detox and she did fine, she never showed signs of discomfort or anything strange so i suspect it would be similar to when you are pregnant and truely anything you can do now to be healthier will be best for you and your baby
best to up your organic (whenever possible) greens intake as much as possible and vary your greens a lot, nut milks, sesame milks, smoothies (banana, almond milk, almond butter & spinach or kale is my fav.) are great, seed dips (sunflower seeds, walnuts, celery, garlic, lemon, olive oil - yum) too
good luck, god bless and let us know how things are going

Mothering.com
Congrats!
Just in case you haven't heard of it, Mothering.com has a great forum for discussing alternative health and pregnancy issues. It seems to be a great site with loads of information; there are even raw mamas on it (search the word 'raw' in the titles of the forum). www.mothering.com

Congratulations!!
I just had my fourth baby 4 weeks ago. My first 2 were SAD babies and my 3rd was vegan. This last time I went raw at the beginning of my third trimester. I wish I had done it sooner! I completely recommend it.
I didn't notice any detoxing while I was pregnant, but I ate a lot of raw food regularly before going all raw.
It's funny though, because now I am finally detoxing!
Keep us posted!
