    Question salt flush + question

I hope this doesn't sound like a dumb question. I know the salt flush is a lot of salt and gets things moving and out. Well, If only a dash of salt is enough for me to retain water and get irritable, is the salt flush still a good idea for me or bad?

Help would be appreciated! I don't want to try it and become a balloon haha.

I do not agree with any kind of salt flushing or gallstone cleanse or master cleanse or any of that.

    this is why.

Salt is NOT something we need to eat, it is highly toxic, now sodium, yes, is important, salt is not.

However, salt does taste good and there are salts out there with lots of wonderful minerals in them, like Celtic Sea salt and Himilayan pink salt and Redmond salt etc. But it's the minerals in these salts and that NATURAL sodium that is good for you.

Mined salt is highly bleached and toxic and is bad for you.

so, that is what needs to be said first. Alissa sells good salt on her website.
www. alissacohen.com. so if you want salt make sure you buy it there.

Now, for these cleanses that I have heard so much about.

I've had gallstones, probably still do, but they cause massive amounts of pain to me, until I learned how to take care of myself.

But, I was reading all this information on this olive oil and lemon juice and salt cleanses, master cleanses, etc.
And my one big thing was, since the food we eat does not go through our gall bladder, how on earth could it actualy cleanse anything, also our gall ducts are tiny little ducts, the whole reason we have pain when we eat fats, is because the gall bladder is trying to pump out bile and cant' and is contracting on the gall stones, if the gall stones COULD move out of the gall bladder, trust me all that contracting would do it.

But the REASON, we have gallstones is becaue of cholesterol and salt build up, etc.

So, I was asking my body about this, and it said NO do NOT drink salt and olive oil.

I got this very clearly, so I asked it about what it needed, and it told me fresh fruits, so I ate fresh fruits and when I do this, my body is much happier, especially grapefruit, and lemons, and oranges.

Now, about this cleanse, I have done alot of reading, and the people who are selling the cleanses or the treatements, or the retreats, or the books talk about the salt and olive oil as it releases the galls stones, and how you can see it in your fecal matter, and how to catcht them so you can view them etc.

And these supposed gall stones, are salt and coagulated olive oil with lemon juice in them, and yet gall stones are not salt and lemon juice and olive oil, they are cholesterol.

So, I believe, and many others do too, that the stones that one finds after a cleanse are simply the coagulated olive oil and lemon juice, (these two items will naturally coagulate when put together) around the salt is simply what you have put into your body AS the cleanse. But hasn't taken anything out of your body.

Trust me on this, I've had gall bladder attachs that lasted over 30 hours, and IF I drank olive oil, I'd be in the emergency room with an emergency gallbladder removal, and that is something that will never happen, because I don't go to doctors, and I won't.

But on the other hand, I won't do something to my body to deliberately damage it either.

the salt/olive oil/lemon juice cleanse, is not good for you, you shouldn't be drinking one cup of olive oil and all that salt it just isn't good for you.

also, salt takes out the liquid in your system.

I used to wonder, why we could eat salt on our food, and drink water, but they say not to drink salt water.

So, I did some research on this.

although we could drink salt water, if we drink one cup of salt water, it leaches out 2 cups of liquid from our bodies.

that is why you aren't supposed to drink salt water when lost at sea, and you will go crazy, because you will dehydrate even faster, than if you drink NO water.

also, the salt leaches out valuable nutrients and minerals in our bodies, while it leaches out the liquids.

so, if you like to eat salt, by all means do that, enjoy the flavor and the enhancement it gives to food, make sure you buy the good stuff that Alissa sells, and that is it.

And if you wish to cleanse, then go 100% raw, that is the ONLY way to really clean out your body. At least that is in my opinion.
