Default Needs tips on doing free weights at home

Can anyone offer some advice on websites that provide examples of exercises that can be done at home with free weights... I know the basic stuff, I am getting used to not being able to go to the gym for the time being and I am learning to like exercising at home again. I did it before so I know I can do it again, I personally prefer the gym environment, I get a really good vibe and energy being around other people who are working out and burning fat. I am just wondering if anyone knows of any good websites, I've been on tons of them but I don't know, just feel like somethings missing... I know how important strength training is and I want to get back into the groove and maintain my muscles.....thank you :)

    hi,
my favourite website is http://exrx.net/Lists/WtFemale.html Just click on the body part and it will give you a list of exercises.
Also, I advise perusing the forum for Oxygen magazine - oxygenmag.net - there are many well-informed people and tons of information
I am frequently appalled by the low regard you Earthmen have for life.

http://www.freetrainers.com/ has lots of work out routines and you can specify you want a home work out.

    Jaurequi,

I checked out that site and wow. Its tight! I mean the lady makes it very simple and plain. I know its geared for women, (I already told my wife about it), but her example of proper technique helped me with my squats. She basically destroys all myths about women and weight training and it doesnt hurt that she is in fantastic shape herself.

    Peace.

Yep! :) It's a great site. She breaks it down so easy, doesn't she? And it's not just for women, you're right; I know lots of men who use her site regularly, so you're not alone.
    she's pretty funny too :)
Nice to hear aanother man appreciates that women can and do weight train :)

    Default Thanks

    Hi everyone!

I just wanted to say thanks for all the great sites. I plan to check them out tomorrow, just got in from work and I am exhausted. I am on day 12 of the master cleanse and when I get home from work in the evening I am so exhausted...too exhausted to exercise, I've got to do something about the energy issue....working 10 hours a day sometimes and not able to drink the MC at work. I try to get in 4-5 servings starting out early in the morning but I don't drink anything because Idon't want to change the cleanse....it takes everything to pick up a weight but I am not giving up, I have to figure out how to make it work...

If you made it to day 12 you are doing FANTASTIC! Keep it up!! The lack of energy you are experiencing may be due to both the cleansing process (definitely been there myself) and the overworking you are doing (stress zaps energy). In spite of these obstacles you are doing tremendous and will be a source of inspiration to others because of it.

    Peace..
