    Thumbs up Mmmm, Crepes

This is my first recipe from Alissas book and it was so wonderful, I can't wait to try out other recipes!!

Oh yeah and one thing I figured out which I am glad I did is that if you over dehydrate the crepe outside and it's crispy/crunchy, you can spray a little water on it and they will get soft and pliable again.

    Analeah,
Wow! They look amazing! What is the sauce on top? Berries? How did you get it to have that nice texture?

    Hey Analeah!
I made those too!! They were awesome but i didn't dehydrate the bananas enough so they were a darker brown--not as visually appealing so i didn't post a pic. Yours look wonderful! How did they taste with the pecans?? At least pecans are cheaper than the mac. nuts.

I'm actually eating crepes right now! I used all cashews, since I don't like macadamia's when they've been creamed. I also added extra lemon juice to the filling and made the sauce with blackberries. So I have Lemon Blackberry Crepes for lunch--yum!

Oh my goodness!!! Now I didn't think I'd ever find a dessert I love more than Alissa's Black Forest Cake, but this one comes close and then some!

The banana fruit leather turned out perfect, I hadn't made any before and now that I found how easy it is we will have all sorts of fruit leather now.

As fast as I could assemble these we ate them, not even time to let them sit and soak up the sauce! Ha!

If you haven't tried these I encourage you to, they are really good and I do think I have a new favorite dessert. Now, can someone please give me permission to eat these for breakfast, lunch, and dinner today?? Oh... I already did that?!

I know, I love her crepes.

Isn't it fun to try new recipes, especially if you feel confident to substitute things that you don't have.

    I do that alot.

Your crepes turned out beautiful, and you made such a nice presentation with the pretty plate and all.

I bet you will be catering raw feasts soon.

make sure you let us all know when you do.

    We'll be there.

I just made these again today, what a lovely food rut to be in!

For the sauce I used a combination of strawberries and blueberries and also for the nuts substituted out some of the macadamia nuts for pecans. The flavors are all still wonderful and I guess I've found my new favorite dessert (or meal!).
