    Default Oh my darlin Clementine!

    Hi

Is anyone else going crazy over these things or is it just me? I love clementines! If you haven't tried these yet I highly reccomend them. They are so tasty and very easy to peel. My children love them. Yesterday we had a clementine feast for breakfast and my 4 year old ate 5 of them!
    Yummy! :)

The last few weeks of December a 5-pound box was only $4... now they're up to $9!!!! But when they were on sale, I ate 10-15 a day..... sooooo yummy!!! so convenient!

About twice I have purchased mandarine oranges, they used to rot before I could get through a box, and that was with my entire family, they were just too squishy soft for my taste.

Well, after hearing how Autumn, goes nuts for the Clementines, I saw them in the store, and decided to buy them, ate the entire case in two days, all by myself, I think Dragggon got one.

Went back and bouth three cases, am still eating on them, I love these guys, I like the lemony, tangy, sweet, firm flesh and all that juice. mmmmm
    they are so good.

I can easily sit down and eat 4 to 8 just as a snack, and I usually like my citrus juiced, and my other fruits whole.

But the minute I peal one, I gotta' pop it in my mouth, the fragrance is truly heavenly. tart and sweet, my flavorite.

    Default same

i am the same... i LOVE clementines. when i lived in Winnipeg, they only occasionally carried them at one grocery store, however the mandarin oranges were everywhere. if i bought a box of those, they rotted before i was done eating them. even my daughter who was under 3 at the time didn't like the mandarins too much. when i had her discover clementines, she and i sat on the floor in the living room and went through at least 20 of them together!! to this day she still much prefers the clementines (she is 3 and a half). We have moved out to the ottawa area now and they are much more common out here. since the beginning of the season I have bought at least 10 cases if not more!! i dread the end of the clementine season... (( SO tasty!!! :)
If anyone has NOT tasted them yet... you have to try them!!

I love those little guys - and I'm not generally a big orange or tangerine fan, but there is something about clementines that I can't get enough of
