    Question Tamari Substitute?

I'm making a chili dish that calls for 1/2 c tamari. Can I substitute Braggs? If not, what would be a good substitute? Thanks!

    nutrimom,

I'm thinking it can. Here's something interesting to read about tamari and shoyu: http://www.care2.com/channels/solutions/food/471

Hmmm, so i guess one would buy Eden's shoyu if anything. So is it cooked then? Sure don't like the sound of petroleum products and hexane. Thanks for the info Rawkinlocs!
