Default simple reminders to stay raw

What are some basic, simple ways that help you stay raw??

    I'll go first. ;)

I said in another post about playing positive games with myself. I figure I've played many games with myself regarding negative food choices and habits. I guess mom was right......."don't play with your food."

I keep Alissa's book in an easily seen place as a reminder.
I announce raw in places I might weaken.....dinner with friends, picnic, etc.
I have one of those little charm bracelets with the expandable links and I bought a strawberry charm as my reminder. If I'm out and weakening I look at that and remind myself of my committment.
I have a folder and inside in the tabs I placed a goal sheet. I've decorated it with phrases and pictures from magazines that motivate me. Even though my goal is great health I added taekwondo goals and the reminder of our cruise in August 2005. They may be silly little things but hey, so it convincing myself I'm hungry and NEED a pizza when I'm really not.

    ;) How great I feel
    Smaller size
    More NRG

There is a pciture of me that I found really unattractive - I looked like a foot ball player wearing the shoulder pads and that is keeping honest these days.

I use simple quotes as a reminder. Here are a few:

"Live foods produce living bodies, dead foods produce dying bodies."

"If you plant corn you don't get beans." or another way to say it, "As you sow so shall you reap."

"If you find yourself doing what everyone else is doing, It's time to reevaluate what your doing."

What's NRG? I guess I'm clueless on all these abbreviations and internet lingo.

Mark Twain said, "whenever you find that you are on the side of majority, it's time to pause and reflect."

Someone else said, "conform and be dull" or in relationship to SAD (I do know one!) it should be "conform and be sick (or dead)"

    Thanks!

    kristi love the strawberry idea.

i remind myself i dont want headaches again and low energy again...that is enough to keep me on raw.

to remember that i am so much freer of the food addiction trap

that eating raw food makes so much sence.
