Having never run a marathon, its hard for me to tell. Thinking about it though, I guess it would depend upon how many days it takes your body to recover from the lost nutrients. The master cleanse is really not about deprivation though in terms of nutrients because it seems that the ingredients really keep you. The only thing I would recommend is that you be at home (near a bathroom) for the first 3 days (like a long weekend).

    Peace.

    Default see you in disney!?

Hey, I'm doing the Disney marathon too!!!! I fast one day a week typically Sunday or Monday.....not sure if right after a marathon is such a good idea for a fast longer than a day???? You really break down your body and deplete your "stores"......maybe a week after? Then again, how used to the distance are you? Is this your first marathon? Our whole fam damily will be making the trek in a few days!!! I am more concerned with WHAT TO EAT & HOW TO EAT while staying at one of the resorts....whatever will I do without my juicer and food processor??? I am thinking of bringing a blender anyway and sending my husband out to a store for F&V?????? I am "making" trail mixes, veggie chips, and energy bars all this week to take too in my dehydrator.....Maybe fasting would be easier right? Good LUCK!!!!
    Happy Trails!
