    Default What is this?

Just wondering if anyone knows the name of this fruit. It looks like a dragon fruit only yellow instead of pink. The inside looks almost the same too but it tastes much better imo and has a different texture.

Hmm, I thought a pitayah was the same as a dragon fruit? Or is it different?

I did a search on google, and when I looked for images of dragon fruit, all the pink ones came on, but then there was this one pic with the fruits you are reffering to, and when I did a search on pitahaya, I mostly got the yellow ones, although I think the dragon fruits are also classified as pitahaya's... it's also reffered to as yellow dragon fruit. They are both family of the cactus
like a pricly pear is actually also a fruit from a cactus...

Wow cool thanks for the info. I thought perhaps it was a cactus fruit of some kind but wasn't sure. It definately looks like a dragon fruit only yellow so they are probably very closely related.

    Default yellow pitaya

Yes, that appears to be yellow pitaya—Selenicereus megalanthus. I found an interesting page with a photo here http://www.hort.purdue.edu/newcrop/ncnu02/v5-378.html
