Default Which juicer should I get?

I like the Omega 8005 juice Extractor because it works off a slow moder to where it won't heat the fruits & vegetables! So it keeps the enzymes from getting destroyed! Plus it does alot of other things like make frozen desserts, nut butters & baby food. It sounds like it was desighned for a raw foodest! Another thing I like is it comes with a 10 year warrenty (if you buy from a company that says that, but I've seen several say that)!
I like the Power Juicer by Jack LaLanne because it's not expensive and you can put bigger sized fruit down it! I've noticed that man that mad this seems like a raw foodest too! The only thing is it don't do as much, it has a higher power motor (so it could heat the juice and destroy some of the enzymes), and the biggest thing of all- It don't have a warrenty on it! Only a 90 day extension on it!
Which one would any of you pick! I want a juicer because for one thing I want to start juicing, so I can get those addictions out of me. Another thing is to be able to get enough carbs and raw food in me so I don't eat something unhealthy and until I get my stomach stretched out where I can eat enough. Plus it's a way to enjoy raw foods more because you can make all kinds of mixed fruit juices that taste great!
Thanks for everyones help in advance! Have a great day and holiday!

I know this isn't one you are asking about but I love my Champion juicer. I borrowed a Green Power juicer from a friend when I was trying to decide and I am so glad that I went with the Champion.

It makes the best ice creams out of frozen fruit, fabulous almond butter and wonderful juice. Best of all, it is very easy to clean.

Thanks for your info on yours. I want any opinions I can get! That sounds good too! The other two are suppose to be easy clean too. How much was your champion juicer and does it come with a warrenty?

    Default Green Star: Awesome juicer.

There are already several posts on this forum discussing juicers.
    Here's one recently:

Just search for "juicer" in the search dialog (banana icon).

    Hope this helps,

Thanks, but I did that already. Not many of them talk about those two that I want. So I wanted to see what the ones that had any of these two juicers what they thought of them! And just to see anyone's opinion on which one they think I should get!
Thanks for your reply! Have a great night!

Hope you get some input on the two juicers you discussed in this thread. I misread your intent and thought you were just wanting some general input on juicers.

Juicing is a great thing!!! FWIW, I really do love the quality of the Green Star. I've used the Champion, and a couple different centrifugal juicers and they all pale in comparison to my Green Star for quality.

But, everyone has different tastes (thank goodness) and that's why there's so many juice boxes on the market.

    Caveat:
I've read alot of content from folks who say it is best to eat fruit whole so the fiber in the fruit can protect against the sugar rush. Vegetables are great to juice though -- Love my Carrot juice!!

Good luck finding the right juicer for you.

    Cheers,

I bought Omega 8005 about a month ago and I am very happy with it!! I think you will be too. I also looked for the variety it can do, plus the machine is very quiet and easy to clean. I use it every day now and love it!

I got an Omega 8005 about 3 weeks ago and I love it! It only takes a few minutes to clean after juicing (that is a big deal to me) and has done a good job with everything I've juiced in it. The motor is slow and does not heat up the food at all. I haven't made baby food yet, but I have a 4 month old so I will soon! I think you'll like the Omega.

    Default The Omega 8005 juicer

I bought it from discountjuicers.com. I thought they had the best prices, and they did not charge tax or shipping. I use mine 2 or 3 times per day sometimes, I just love it. It cost $260, which is more than I was planning on spending, but it is worth it. And it's chrome so it looks good sitting out in the kitchen!

    Default Breville Juicer

Sorry, no feedback on either of the juicers you mentioned, but I thought I'd take this chance to mention that I just ordered the Breville juicer from Alissa's site. I haven't personally used one yet, but watched Alissa demonstrate it. It's super fast, has a big enough feed chute for whole fruit, and (a biggie for me!) is really fast and easy to clean! I'm in this whole raw thing for the "easy" so this fit right in :)

    Default Omega 8005 Juicer

Just bought the 8005 and it is outstanding. I also picked up a Excalibur 9 tray dehydrator and the total was under $400. Check out user=Loblollygifts on Ebay.
