Default My 7 day water fast

I haven't done a fast for a long long time.... but last week my body just decided it was time. I'm on day 5 of a seven day water fast. Sleeping more than usual and feeling great. I have this overwhelming urge to read raw 'cook' books though and dream of recipes I'll make next week. I'm also including body brushing, some rebounding, warm baths and day dreaming.

It's great taking time for me to rest and relax... I'm really enjoying this. Funny how we get so busy 'doing' we forget to just be.

Take care and I'll post more soon,
    Sheryl

Sheryl I'd like to read more about your experience. I've read about water fasts but I'm not prepared to do it yet.

    Default Day 6

I'm on day six now, and still feeling great. I discovered my low energy yesterday was due to not enough water - once I drank my energy came up again.

The combination of dry skin brushing, lots of coconut oil, good energized water has had great results. My legs are so smooth and looking great! I think the fast has really cleared up alot of water stored around my body - I guess when you get toxins out you don't need the water to dilute it anymore! Feels great!

The funny thing is I haven't been hungry yet, except for one 5 second stomache growl. I am looking longingly at recipes though and planning what to make next week. The Jalopeno Popper are top on my list.

Friday lunch though is WATERMELON! Looking very forward to it!

    Cheers,
    Sheryl

Do you eat the coconut oil or put it on your body? How much of it do you use?

    Wow, that is inspiring.
Are you taking the coconut oil as a supplement?

Have you been raw before doing this or are you diving in? I'm wondering because I'd like to do a juice fast but I don't have a juicer and a week on just water seems really hard for me.

Just wanted to point out the Sheryl's last post on this thread was 11-23-2005, 04:40 AM. This was an old fast (old post). raweyes must have done a search and revived it.
