    Default Swedish Fast

    Hey ya all!

I´m new on this forum and really don´t know how I ended up here...maybe it´s a sign of some kind because I´m very interested in paleolitic eating or like we did in the stoneage...and recently I´ve become very interesting in eating more and more fruit and raw food. So this is kind of the place for me I think?

I´ve been struggling a little bit with myself the past few years, and I did a lot of fasting. Now I´m feeling sick of my non-healthy student life in the north of Sweden and theres is way too much alcohol and parties and too little of good food and balance in my life...so I´m thinking of making a change...

Can anyone help me to motivate myself? I know that a fast would make me more alert and positive, and I´m feeling good when I´m working out in the gym..but I have to do it more often...last weeks have been really bad with the food, alot of prepared shit junk-food and candy and all that bad stuff...I have to get rid of my cravings and just ignore that this food exist! How, my friends how?

Especially bread....the day after a party there is cravings that drive me mad...If I could I would eat a brick in the wall instead of all the bread, or pizza or candy or...yeah u know...I´m not overweight 173cm and 70 kg. Wish to loose 10kg...

Can you give me some good advice about this????

It's admirable, especially coming from a "cold" country such as yours to even be considering raw. My husband is from Denmark and most of the food found there is imported so, quite expensive, especially if it's organic. Is it similar there?

One point I'd like to make here is, the paleolithic diet includes raw meat and that's not the outcome here. Would your eventual outcome be to become vegan? If not, you may wish to consider a different site ~ one that is more focused on paleolithic eating.

There is LOTS of info here on folk getting started; what to do; how to maintain it, etc. Mostly it's about being prepared. Bring good-tasting foods with you when you go out; having good food at home so when you are hungry, that's what you eat. What it really comes down to is not focusing on what you don't eat so much as what you do eat ~ if that makes sense. :)

    Ok thanks!

Well I don´t eat raw meat ... And i´m not interesting in becoming a vegan when I think it´s very unhealthy when the body lacks important vitamins....but hey! thats only my opinion...Maybe I surf around a while and learn about how u folks eat and then keep on going on my own forum in sweden for paleolithic eating...

    Thanks!

What vitamins do you think you'll be missing as a vegan?
