    Wink Drinking while exercising?

    I've recently started weight training and want to know if its beneficial to drink my veggie juice while exercising? I have been sipping slowly thru out my workout (warming up on the treadmill, then weights, then cycling, then stretching) and have felt really great, but want to know if that is the right thing for all the organs while exercising. Thank you for all the help

    I would think in terms of digestion it might be better to drink it before and after exercising, and to stick to water during your exercising. However veggie juice digests rather quickly and if you are just sipping on it, it's probably okay.
    I'd rather eat vegan and look like a tree than eat cow and look like a pig.

    Thank you Gianni. That is what I thought as well, digests quickly, gives me the nutrients I need and off I go! I like to drink Matte in the mornings since that is also a natural tea that adds alot of benefits, but I think that wouldnt work during exercising, so I thought a veggie drink will work great. I tried water with apple cider vinegar yesterday, worked nicely but didnt give me that nourishing feeling as the green juice did. I'm also trying to figure out the "Food combinations", meaning, some say apples can go with veggies, but I've been reading lately that apple is a sub-acid fruit so should be seperate from the veggies. So should I do veggies with nuts? since that is the correct digestive combination?

    Good afternoon,

    I hydrate prior to working out and only drink water while I am exercising. I save the juice or smoothie for the end of training, so I can get the nutrients I need. Enjoy the journey!
