Traveling/Flying Raw
Does anyone have advice for staying 100% raw while traveling, particularly to a foreign country? I'm starting to plan a trip to the Dominican Republic this summer. Obviously, I can expect for there to be lots of fruits available as it is a tropical island. But I know the water is not drinkable, and I heard that you cannot really eat the raw vegetables either as they are rinsed with the tap water. I will be there for 2 weeks or more. Any ideas? Does anyone else have experience with traveling to a Latin American country? Also, I'm not sure what the regulations are for flying/luggage. What can I take with me on the plane? Am I allowed to pack knives and cutting boards in my luggage? If you have any knowledge about any of these things, please share!!!
