Yay! January!!. Happy New Year to all!

Today I biked about 10 miles, and walked an hour. Anyone know any good yoga books/dvds that teach you proper breathing techniques and is overall good for beginners?

Got a rebounder for Christmas. Just tried it out today. It's a lot harder than it looks.

Also this morning, did 25 push-ups and took the dog for a 2 mile walk, but she started getting tired after a mile and a half.

Yesterday morning, walked a mile. Yesterday evening walked 1½ miles, jogged ¾ mile.

When so many people just hop into a car and head to a fast food restaurant, it's interesting you went for a 2 mile walk. Did you drink a smoothie or something for lunch?

Tonight the dog and I walked a mile, jogged 2 miles, then walked another mile. Also I did 28 push-ups this morning.

Gianni, yes I had a smoothie, with my quinoa and black beans. My job allows me time to conduct physical training, because it pays to be in shape. It keeps us sharp, which is very important, zero error and mistakes.

Today's workout I walked 2.5 mi during lunch, at home I warmed up shoulder stretch, mobility WOD, 10 min rebounding

    Fran
Three rounds, 21-15- and 9 reps, for time of:
    45 pound Thruster
    Pull-ups
Time 8:38 (prior to my surgery my time was 8:51)

Fran is tough, the hardest part is the middle 15 reps. They suck the life out of you. Today I rebounded for 30 min, the calm before the storm. Get some

Wow, great starts to the New Year, Choose2BWell, BlackKat, and Gianni!

Started tapering a bit this past week, so I ran: 3 miles Tuesday, 7 miles Thursday, 9 miles Saturday, and 2 miles Sunday. Less than one week to go!

If only my lunch breaks were longer (I only get 30 minutes) I would SOOOOO take advantage of this.

I've mostly been doing a considerable amount of walking due to the fact that I've been working A LOT. Haven't had time to get to the gym, and I'm detoxing big time so I have to gauge my energy and ability to what I can push myself to do. This morning for the first time in a few days I feel like I have a decent amount of energy. I will bike tonight, as well as walk.

Keep up the good work everyone!!
