    Default Home Sweet Home

I got off the plane a few hours ago and am home - hurray!!
Today is my last day of eating "travel food" - but still all raw. I drank a TON of water on the plane, but was really really hungry anyway so I feel like I ate a ton. Oh well. Tomorrow I am looking forward to eating at home. I'm going to sign up for Renee's brownie class - looks super delicious!

B: Strawberry smoothie with wheat grass & matcha
Kombucha (2) - I had to drink them before I got on the plane

    S: 1/8 c. Almonds
Two bags of kale chips (yes two)

L: Amazing Grass brand Green Superfood Raw Bar
    2 small flax crackers
    1/4 c. walnuts & pecans

    S: 1/2 c. almonds

I am all off from traveling so I'm not even hungry for dinner or anything. I'm so glad to be home and am ready to back to normal eating! I do love the kale chips I bought, though. They don't carry that brand near me. Normally I only like the ones I make, but these were super yummy. May have to look online .... =)

    Cheers!

Do you mean the Friday BEFORE, or the Friday AFTER? Cuz if its before, you can still join the class with your finished brownie!!!!! :)

I made the brownies today! Couldn't wait! Did a mix of walnuts and pecans, and also added in maca. I did not add additional agave. They are aaaaaammmmaaazzzzing. Thank you Renee!

Renee, I also love the ease with which you set up that class. Great site!! Unfortunately I have another meeting at that time tomorrow so can't join. Hopefully a future online session!

B: One Lucky Duck fruit & nut granola (Christmas present, thank you Santa!!! It's my fave) with chocolate almond mylk, goji berries, sprouted buckwheat
L: butternut squash soup and kale chips
D: marinated and slightly dehydrated butternut squash with cilantro and parsley, marinated bok choy, avocado, buckwheat sprouts, sprouted curry pumpkin seeds
Snacks: apple, kombucha (home brewed - second batch! not too bad...), several brownies (mm mmmmmm), rooibos tea

    See you all tomorrow!

Have to share - my husband started on raw on Saturday and as of this morning he's lost SEVEN pounds!! He's doing everything right - eating plenty, drinking lots of water. I'm super excited for him as he was feeling like it was time to lose the weight. I told him he probably will slow down on the weight loss, but what a great way to start off. And it will help him stay raw. =)

Hey everyone! I haven't been around the forums much but I've been all raw since the first :). My meals have mostly been smoothies, salads and fruit. I've got some raw nori sheets so I've done a few rolls but really I've been keeping it pretty simple. Happy to see you all on here and to see what you're eating! Nom nom nom!

Yesterday was a great mid-way point -- halfway through the month already! I weighed myself this morning and I'm down six pounds, which I wasn't expecting at all so it was a nice bonus. :)

    From 1/15:
    B: Ginger Mango Smoothie
    S: Whole grapefruit w/cinnamon
L: Big mixed green salad with avocado, tomatoes, corn, capers, sauerkraut, sprouts
    S: Handful of nuts
D: Avocado and red pepper 'soup'
    S: Strawberry and mint smoothie
