Default Is This THE Nutritionally Complete Meal?

This is a meal (usually lunch for me) that I’ve developed and modified over many years. I’m not a Nutritionist, but all the nutritional information I’ve gathered leads me to believe that this meal contains ... well – EVERYTHING! That is: All the essential vitamins, minerals, micronutrients, balanced protein, complete fats etc. I suppose the measure of a “Complete Meal” would be one that could sustain life indefinitely. So any nutritionists out there? Does this meal contain it all?

Sprouts: I use 3 kinds. Alfalfa, sunflower and lentil. The sprouts are supplemented with a small handful of hemp seeds and an avocado

Dressing: Fermented sunflower or pumpkin seeds or a mix of both (otherwise known as seed cheese) The pumpkin tastes the best but it smells! (like old socks and something rotten! ... but boy does it taste good)
I assume everyone knows how to make seed cheese but just in case: Simply soak the seeds in pure water for 12 – 36 hours depending on temperature and “strength” desired, and then blend to a thick paste.

Add to the seed cheese the following: Dulse, fresh crushed garlic, tamari (or other salty agent you might prefer) lemon juice and/or rejuvalac, bit of olive oil, food yeast (aka nutritional yeast)

Optional additions: Lettuce with the sprouts and cayenne, onion powder or any other favorite herbs/spices added to the dressing.

    Is this the ‘Ultimate Meal?’
    cheers,
    Jim

I don't know if it's complete but it does sound quite daunting and complex to prepare :)

For me the complete meal would be the one that if you had it for every meal and nothing else you would not only be healthy but thrive.
I think that you have no reds or blues so maybe trow some berries in to that.
You have too much fat and I would think that your omega 6 and 3 are out of balance as you have too much 6 and not enough 3 unless you increase the hemp and reduce the rest.
You do not have enough calories unless you have a lot of seed cheese and that means a lot of fat.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I'll look more closely at the recipe based on what you've written.

Actually this "meal" keeps me feeling sustained for a good 5 hours or so. I didn't mention quantities but it's a very large bowl full.

I believe you would still require a b12 supplement. That's the only thing that still stumps me about raw.

This is true. One day I hope science better understands b12.

    Lol. Yes, I know.
I mean to impart that it is, to my knowledge, the only essential nutrient unavailable in the vegan diet.

it is less and less available in the diets of meat eaters too. In fact Vegans who realise they probably need to supplement are less likely to be deficient than people on a regular diet. Leading a life free of sanitizers is, in my opinion, also very important.

I think its pretty darn good. I would add some omega 3s though. Flax, chia, hemp. I don't know if you mentioned seaweaweed but kelp is good also other than dulse.

Some fermented cabbage or beet root sounds good too.
