I'm very sorry to hear that. I choose to believe in the fundamental decency of humanbeings, over and above any negatives, but there are some truly awful individuals that outwardly appear to stand as exceptions to this. It is shocking how appallingly some people will behave in order to shirk their responsibilities to others, and/or to make a fast buck.

It's only when one experiences the effects for oneself, and is pushed into researching the issue, that the scale of the potential sources and avenues of exposure becomes apparent. It is a major eye-opener.
And, of course, there are other toxins which can exert profoundly negative effects upon the liver and the body in general, so our discussion isn't necessarily exclusively about heavy metals.
I get the sense, from what details you have provided in this thread, that you could potentially benefit profoundly from directing your evident intellect to researching the matter or toxic exposure in both you, and your sister's, lives. Certainly, if you yourself have dental amalgams, then there absolutely is an obvious and very viable source of heavy metal exposure, but it would also be very informative, not only for your sister, but also for you, to try to figure out what potential toxic exposure she may have had. Even putting your amalgams to one side for a moment, there may be some other overlap between some exposure she may have experienced and, perhaps, a similar or identical exposure in your life. Whether that might be gestational, or environmental during childhood remains to be established.
In terms of more distant (no pun intended) relatives living elsewhere around the globe, yet still experiencing psoriasis, it's worth considering that there are genetic differences in physiological abilities to detoxify certain compounds.
I'm also curious as to whether these distant relatives who share your condition have lived in these other geographical locations their entire lives or if they emigrated during adulthood.
