I'm on day 2 of a 14 day juice feast and had lots of energy today. Walked 2km this morning then jogged to the supermarket and back (500m each way). Then in the evening walked 4km, then jogged 3km.

I keep forgetting to post here, thanks for continuing this thread Gianni. I'm training for a 1/2 marathon (21 km) in January and can't wait! I love running on raw food, everthing just seems to click. Saturday was a 7 mile (11 km) run and Sunday was crosstraining on horseback. Today is a rest day.

Great job with your walks and runs Gianni!

Still on track! Last week I did: 2 miles on Tuesday, 7 miles on Thursday, and 8 miles on Saturday.

    How's your juice fast going?

That's some good distances you're training at. Good job! How fast do you plan on running your half marathon? Do you have a time you are targeting?

The juice fast is going great. I'm drinking tons of watermelon juice as it is in season, it tastes great, it is quick to make, and it is relatively inexpensive now. So, I've been drinking about 5 liters of watermelon juice every day plus 1½ liters of vegetable juice. It keeps me well nourished and full of energy.

Today, I did 25, 20, 20 push-ups, did a bit of swimming in the pool, and in the evening jogged 3.5 km with the dog.

    Get some!

Thanks Gianni! I am not fast all, I just enjoy getting outside! I am doing about 11:30 per mile, so my target would be about 2 1/2 hours, but I'm really not focusing on time, just the experience. :)

This past week was about the same, 2 miles on Tuesday, 7 miles on Thursday, and then 10 miles (16 km) on Saturday. Never in my life would I think I could say I could run 10 miles! If anyone thinks they can't exercise, YOU CAN! It really just takes putting one foot in front of the other and keeping up with it. No matter how far or long, just do it for you! I could not even run 1/4 mile about two years ago, now 10 miles?!?!

Your juice fast sounds sooo good, especially with all the watermellon juice! Yummy!!! And you're getting great exercise too! Have a great week!
