Raw Food and social anxiety ?
I am having a hard time with my social anxiety, it is very hard for me to meet people i do not know in real life.
Since detoxing the body is going to improve the brain chemistry i guess there will be a good impact.
What is your experience ?
Thank You.

My confidence has been raised since eating raw foods but I'm really not sure if that's because of my weight release or ???

well then bring on the raw goodness!!! and don't forget some yummy green smoothies. great way to get lots of greens into your body (be sure to add in citrus to your smoothie if you have any iron issues - you'll absorb more iron that way)

My confidence is much higher for many reasons: 1. mental clarity is improved, so I operate better in general 2. weight loss 3. more energy
4. few worries in general.
The raw diet has been amazing for my anxiety!!!

I think it's important to realize that although diet can play a role in dealing with social anxiety it's ultimately a question of challenging your internal thought processes which are leading to you getting anxious. You should look at NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and don't ignore your social anxiety because it can get a lot worse if you don't deal with it.
Anything that is good for your body is going to help you be the best you can be. So detoxing and raw foods will make you a better you and help you to focus on dealing with your social anxiety in a positive way and any boost to your confidence will help too.

Thanks for you answer. I think once i am getting that garbage out of my body i become more calm and more happy since the toxins are affecting the mood. The problem is that the "food" i have been eating so far always made me tired and depressed and left so much brain fog, that in front of any person, it is like i have to many clouds there that i can not really express myself. I am doing a water fast right now to get physically healthy first and then i will see what remains. I am definetly going to work on reprogramming my subconscious after that, since nothing seems to work for me when my energy levels are too low which leads to low motivation. I will post my progress here, to help people with related issues.

I used to be hooked on all that garbage they sell and remember feeling tired, depressed and having so much brain fog it was hard to focus clearly on anything. Sometimes you get into a rut and it's hard to get out. Luckily for me I started having health problems which forced me to look at how I was living and I was able to make a positive change. If I hadn't made that change I don't know if i'd still be around today.
It sounds like you have a good plan and are focusing on being physically healthy which should always be a priority. Just don't let your social anxiety take over because it will if you let it. I've dealt with several clients who had social anxiety/social phobia and it can destroy your life it you let it.
Anyway, i'm looking forward to hearing about your progress. There is so much that a person can do to change things for the better. Always try to remain positive and strive to change the things in your life that need changing.

That brain fog is exactly what always stands in my way. It makes me feel extremely disconnected, like i do not really know what to do in my life, and once i start concentrating on something i will quickly loose the energy to do so. It i like a big veil, disconnecting me. I absolutely know what you are talking about. I have stopped paying much attention on my physical issues, including speaking about them, since i noticed it only strenghtens them. I have been reading books on alternate medicine for over 5 years now, the problem was always to get started and keep beeing on the way, because there is stuff that my body is really addicted to, or maybe the parasites ?
I was always eating bad "food", because that was the only thing that made me really happy for a short time, because i could not fill the gap. Anyway when i am fasting i am always happy that i can stay without that food and meditation helps a lot, not to get caught up in negative thoughts.
About the social anxiety:
I am already on a point where i accept it, i do not pay much attention anymore. Because the whole point was that i have always suppressed it, i did not want to feel that feeling, and so it started to grow because i focused my energy on it, all the time.
I hope i do not sound too self-centered here, i just like to share with others.
I really appreciate it, that you have shared your thoughts and motivated me.
Sorry for the english, i am from Germany.
Thank you.
