Default How practical is it for me to be 100% raw?

I work for an Environmental company (cleaning up hazardous waste). I can work anywhere from 60-100 hours per week. I usually work 8-16 hours a day. Some weeks I can easily work three 24 hours shifts in a row (few hour breaks here and there). A lot of my work is very physical and I need tons of energy. So is going 100% raw practical with my line of work? Will I be able to bring meals/juices that will keep me satisfied as well as give me enough energy to work?

Edit: I also don't have access to a bathroom 90% of the time while I'm working... Let's just say if I HAVE to use the bathroom while on a job site, it's pretty awkward and horrible. So is there any way to ease into this so my body isn't shocked and I have to go to the bathroom every 5 minutes?

I have an extremely hectic schedule and personal life demands and sometimes I can't eat as perfectly as I'd like as a result, but even if you can't do it 100% you can definitely drastically improve how you eat by cutting out the bad stuff and increasing the good stuff. When able research as much as you can so you can learn easy, quick and transportable raw recipes. The bathroom thing may not be an issue so I wouldn't worry about that unless it actually happens I've never had that kind of issue. In fact even while 100% raw I only needed to go once a day.

Alright, that sounds fantastic! I just heard people talking about a transition when going to raw. They said they had terrible detox symptoms and changes in bowel movements. I can't be in terrible pain (headaches or whatever) while trying to work you know?

    Thanks for the info!

You can go raw and manage it but perhaps you should consider that your lifestyle is not the healthiest. There are other things that are as important as eating the right food and sleep is one of them. Food is only one of the pillars of health.

I would definitely advise against going 100% raw immediately. This applies to any major change in diet/fitness routine, not just the raw diet. You can start replacing some of your meals, let your body adjust, and you will also find out what works for you, what you like etc. The detox symptoms vary from person to person and can definitely be managed if you do it slowly.

Different approaches work for different people. For some cold turkey by going 100% overnight is the only way they will achieve what they want with raw. If one method doesn't work then try another.

Headaches or whatever are often caused when people give up things like caffeine, diet drinks, etc. It all depends on your current food program.

If your life style not better means not healthiest so use the raw food which gives slightly support just to restore the energy in the body gradually. It has no side effect for the body and body growth becomes better by the continuous use of it.
