    Default Not consuming many calories?

I eat when hungry, so about once every 2 hours. I'll have fruit pretty much until dinner (avocado included in fruit). And then some sort of gourmet-ish raw meal for dinner with lots of greens and veggies. I calculated the amount of calories I'm eating and it's only about 1000-1200 a day. But I feel really really good. I jog 2-3 miles 5 days a week, and I'm also doing circuit training 2-3 times a week. I'm not worried about losing weight right now, I'm focusing all my energy on eating well... But I am losing weight, I think, but I till refuse to obsess with that right now. I just don't know if I should start forcing myself to eat more? Should I just continue to listen to what my body is telling me or is it short circuiting on me or something, lol!!?

Thanks in advance for any advice :)

in order to eat only say 1200 calories in a day and allowing that you eat every two hours, are you sure you have your calculations right? When you say gourmet-ish does that mean nuts and oils in the recipe? If you feel good then do what feels good. Most people lose weight on raw, even those who aren't fussed to lose any. Re-evalue the situation a bit further down the line if you are still slightly concerned.

It does include nuts, or nutt butter. Usually not any oils though. I eat roughly 6 pieces of fruit (1 every 2 hours) until dinner at 6pm, then have something like... Kelp & veggie pasta tossed with a raw tahini sauce with a raw nori wrap stuffed with avocado, sprouts, kale, etc. or a big salad with nuts and fruit on top. I've found when eating nuts during the day, it slows down my energy so that's why I've been sticking to those at night. Ill just allow my body to tell me what's right, I just honestly expected to have to eat a lot more, in the beginning especially. I don't know why I thought that though!

Have you checked that you are getting enough minerals and vits. If yes then it would seem that you are on a calorie restricted diet and that is generally held to be the only diet that has been proven to prolong life. The problem would be if you are not getting the nutrients that you need. Short term this will not do damage but long term it will.

I actually take liquid trace minerals in my water; I've been doing that for years now. I'm not sure abut my vitamin intake though... Do you know of an app or website that could help me calculate?
