    Default ~October Movement~

Didn't see a thread for this month so here we go!

Going to start a new round of p90x in a few weeks or so. For now just been walking and getting back into an exercise regimen. The air is cool and crisp, the leaves are turning beautiful colors and I'm just enjoying being outside before it gets too cold. This is the kind of weather I don't mind getting sweaty in, you cool off super fast

    So far today:

cleaned the house (vacuumed, tidied up)
    walked 1 hour
toning exercises (squats, lunges, bicep curls, pull-ups, etc.)

Genesis 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind,
and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind:
and God saw that it was good.

BlackKat - Thanks for starting a fitness thread for October.

    Did 25 push-ups this morning.

In the evening, took the dog out. We walked 1 mile, jogged 3 miles, then walked another mile.
I'd rather eat vegan and look like a tree than eat cow and look like a pig.

Yesterday morning, I briskly walked 8 miles on the beach. Last Thursday I injured my ankle while trying to do some interval training so I've just been walking since then. Maybe I was trying to do too much too soon by running more on my toes than on my heels like I had previously been doing. Hopefully it will get better soon because I was hoping to participate in a 5k fun run.
