Default Goat milk & raw food

    Hi everyone.

What are your opinions on using non-processed goat milk in your raw food diet?

I've been experimenting with blending juices lately and using goat milk seems delicious with certain fruits.

It's not vegan. Don't talk about non-vegan foods on this forum.

Does raw food diet equals veganism?

I'm aiming for a raw food diet. I don't see how unprocessed goat milk isn't raw.

This is a raw, vegan forum which you would know if you had taken any time at all to find out anything about us. You need to post your question on a different forum; one which talks about raw, non-vegan products.

I see. Well thank you for the info. I guess the forum title tricked me into this topic :).

Let's begin with the word "delicious." LOTS of things that some call "food" are delicious yet, not healthy. Contrary to what many who used to be raw vegan are currently espousing, animal products do NOT belong in our food program. Animal milk was created for the baby of that animal, not for humans. My suggestion ~ make you some nut and/or seed mylks. Unless you are milking the goat yourself, making nut/seed mylks are easier. Just take a cup of say, soaked almonds, put 'em in a heavy duty blender w/about 3-4 cups of water, blend and strain. Some add a sweetener... I like to add strawberries for color.... there are numerous things you can do with the mylk. Experiment and have fun!

You are welcome here. You just need to respect the guidelines and not discuss food that is not vegan. This is a great site to learn about raw food diet.

I agree with Revvell, the way I do it is I just throw a small handfull of almonds directly in with my other smoothie ingredients, usually fruit and some leafy greens. It comes out nice and creamy and satisfying.

I further agree with you that the title may be too concise, but must admit, I've never taken the time to read through all the rules.

In your exploration of the different facets of raw, I would invite you to try raw vegan. Many of us have found optimum health through the elimination of all animal products from our diets.
