Although I am not actually hungry, I have been very creative in my mind with regard to raw food. Next weekend I'm planning the best raw pasta ever and kale salads and raw mushroom soup. The cooking of a very delicious (apparently) meal for my friend went very well. I had carrot, apple, beet and celery juice and was very content. The volume of stuff I took to cover my needs exceeded that for the three conventional eaters! It was lovely but my friend was very tired.

Sipping on some delicious fresh Ginger Tea!!!! Enjoying another Calzone Sandwich with a Salad for dinner! (see page 4 for photo). Dessert will be Coconut Fudge:

Another Monday and back at work already. I brought my juicer in and have carrot, apple, cucumber (just a little bit, I can't taste it!), beetroot, celery and ginger. It looks like a very decadent vampire drink on my desk! There's a thought, a vegan vampire (anyone remember Rockula!!!?).
I feel good. I feel pretty happy. Here's to a great week.

I made two awesome salads for my day today. The first is a potato salad knock-off with jicama...it tastes so good:

I must say I used a commercial vegan mayo because I didn't have the ingredients for the one in the recipe.
The second one is an Apple Cabbage and I've been making it for a few days. I did add celery to the recipe and it adds more crunch:

Since Apples are in season, I wanted to find a couple of recipes to use them. I bought a bad of organic Galas at TJ's for a great price.

sounds delish. I am planning some nice salads for the weekend.

Im still here. Today I am doing a coconut water fast with the Monday Fasting Club. Love coconut water.
I am feeling more alive and energetic each day. Yesterday my lunch was sweet dragon fruit. I ate about 6 of them. They were so good. I need more simple savory dishes besides salads.
mybody shape is changing. My legs don't look so jello-ey. Its like the fat is melting off. I m not weighing myself my clothes are baggier now.

Good Morning everyone. I am sorry I haven't posted for a while. Life is so busy.
Today, I am going to fast. I think telling others makes it more real and keeps me from backing out.
Good luck everyone.

Hi Rob,
Wondered where you got to. Enjoy the fast. I'm loving it :)

I found great apples at the farmers market this weekend so I made applesauce. That was my breakfast today. My pants are baggier today. Yeah Feeling more awake and alive. I am out of greens so I am craving them.

Yeah indeed for baggy pants!

Congrats Tracey. Good Job. :)
Georgina, I'm still here. I have been pretty focused at work. I need to get in the habit of turning on my computer at home.
This is the second day on my water fast. I have mixed feelings about it. I got on the scale this morning and was very pleased with what I saw. I do, however, really want to eat some food. I am not hungry, but I miss the idea of food. The hunger is building, though. I'm curious what tomorrow will bring. I read that the 3rd or 4th days are the hardest.
Good luck everyone. Keep up the great work. :)

See how it goes Rob. Take it day by day; I think you'll get a lot out of it.
-
Hail to the water fasters. I haven't ventured there yet.
Use your inner strength Robh. You will do it....
Coconut water was great. Today I am getting the cleansing effects I thought would come yesterday.
