I've compiled a list of my favorite dishes and started grocery shopping for them. A major key to success for me is planning ahead and making sure I've got yummy stuff ready to go in case I have a weak moment.
I've also started thinking about a message I'm going to send to my friends and family, making sure they know what I'm doing and how important it is to me. I want to make sure they'll support me... well, hopefully.
I hope you get your Vitamix quick Stacey! I'd be lost without mine!

Monomeals are the easiest thing of all until your vitamix arrives :) Do you have a food processor?

waiting on Vitamix...
Yes, I have a food processor and a miniprep. Monomeals are good. I remember I used to like Alissa's mock salmon pate. I don't have a dehydrator, but there's a health food store nearby that sells raw crackers. I might just try going high raw for a while to transition to 100% raw. I guess we'll see how it goes. Thanks for being so supportive. I love that about this forum.

Hi All, decided to fast for the month of October, so headed over to the fasting board. Will return in November to join you all. Wishing you all the best on this exciting journey we are undertaking!!!!

All the best with your fast! We'll be here when you're done :)

Thank you KMIK, all the best to you as well!!!!

I think this is an amazing idea! I've fallen off the wagon the last 2 months and I'm starting to forget how good it felt to be 100% raw. I'm slowly slipping back to the vegetarian path as well. I would love to have a little support group to help keep each other motivated and inspired! :)
I'm on vacation right now visiting my family who eat out every night though. I got them to agree to no fast food but it's still a challenge. Last night we went to a BBQ place where the only non-meat and non-mayo food available was a baked potato and apple sauce. I'm still high raw at the moment, still having my green smoothies and salads and lots of fresh fruits for snacks but I have to wait til I get home on the 22nd to join in. I can't wait to join you though in a couple weeks! :)
Sending love and light to everyone, everywhere, always! :)

Going great so far today. I woke up this morning with the desire to water fast - this certainly counts as 100% raw. I have not water fasted before but this morning it just felt right so I am listening to my body and going with it. Plenty of water so far and no real hunger yet. I await developments :)

Breakfast
I've gotta start this thing feeling like I'm getting a treat, so for breakfast this morning, I'm having a Chocolate Shake!
I've got a couple bananas, a handful of almonds, a spoon of hemp seeds, raw cocoa powder, maca powder, coconut oil, vanilla, a sprinkle of cinnamon, spinach, water and ice. It's so creamy and delicious!
What's everyone else having?

Ha! With what I had for dinner last night, this probably would have been the route for me to take as well!

I do the same. I am always on the lookout for more variety. Can you list some of the yummy stuff that you have on hand?
