    Exclamation PRE-RAW and CONSTIPATION???!!!

Hello, my name is India and I am currently around 260 pounds at 6 feet tall. My goal weight is to be 180 pounds NO LESS hehe. Well, I want for various reason to go raw and never turn back. I understand the detox can hit you hard but I'm willing to go through it because it's worse than always wondering why I'm feeling bad in a particular area to end up having doc's do scans and exams to give me the "maybe it's this" results. I firmly believe that my heart disease (cardio-myopathy) and high cholesterol will be next to no problem if i went raw. I want to be that way sooooooooo much! I haven't been under 200 pounds in almost 10 years...I'll be 30 this November :-) So far I haven't really grasped the eating raw thing yet. I've only stopped drinking faucet water...I drink ONLY bottled water. I've cut down on sweets and greasy foods. I don't fry food and haven't for years! I like eating oatmeal everyday when I can and we dont have sugar in the house at all. No sodas or juice of any kind...just cases of bottled water. What I have done recently is obtain a blender so that i can blend my veggies (adding water of course) so that i am more likely to eat them as i no longer want to use seasonings of any kind to make veggies taste good to provoke me to get into eating them. I'm not used to eating them so much especially a wide variety so I'm sure that if I did I'd want seasoning and felt like blending them in a blender with water with a FEW pieces of fruit would taste pretty decent. Well...

That worked. I've blended kale and I've blended spinach (both organic). I add mainly kiwi to make it taste a lil sweet. Now what I've noticed is that....takes deeeep breath...I've been really constipated!!! And it's bad as I don't know what. It huuuuuuurts sooooo much (yes I'm laughing now...after the fact because it is weird and too much information but I need help!). Any how, I have been this way since maybe around the time i started blending the veggies to make my green smoothie. Is it possible that the veggies are why i get constipated? I don't each cheese or eggs nor do i drink milk.

For now until i get the hang of things and know what recipes to try that I am comfortable with so that I can move forward into being raw, i still plan on eating cooked foods until i can figure out why I'm so constipated. I have organic veggies all through out my fridge but I'm scared to eat them because I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm sure someone can help me with this so please heeeeeelp! I wish I knew what I was doing wrong. I almost want to avoid going to the bathroom but I go as soon as it's time.

Another thing...i've noticed for about 4 months or so that I've had itchyness throughout my body...it changes up where it itches: side of stomach, left risk area, other side of stomach, upper right love-handle area (lol), around my belly button area radiating out about 6 inches in all directions...not sure why though. It's basically felt on my arms, back (upper and lower) and my lower front torso area. Haven't changed detergants or anything else. Well, thanks for reading aaaaaaaaall of this text :-) I really appreciate it and any help that I can receive

My guess is that you are eating things that require different digestion times. Your smoothies would like to go through you very quickly, but other things like meat, dairy, grains, bread, take much longer. By going raw vegan you will eliminate or minimize most of these hard to digest foods.

I'd rather eat vegan and look like a tree than eat cow and look like a pig.

Definitely go totally raw and think to add apple to your smoothies and be sure to drink lots - you say you have water to hand but not how much you are eating. Fruit will better assist in faster, smoother, pain free transit of food. The food that you are not blending, be sure to chew it well. The itching is interesting. I hope it goes soon.
