I read you can soak it for 12 hours, then lay it out on a tray or plate in the dark, covered, and every 6 to 8 hours you rinse it and lay it out again.
Well, I had my quinoa soaking for... maybe 18 hours or something? Maybe more... just because I forgot about it. I just noticed the top was foamy and the quinoa had floated to the top of the water (it doesn't smell bad, is the foam and floating okay?). so I rinsed it really well and it's already sprouted into tails!
So... do I even have to lay it out? Can I just give them new water and let them soak more because they seemed to sprout well just from the water :0
