I made the most delicious strawberry and banana sorbet iced cream last night. The strawberries were flavorful, and I put lots of sweet things in there too: 1 cup almond mylk made from fresh coconut juice, 10 small dates, 2 tablespoons of honey. I put a large teaspoon of flax meal and a large teaspoon of psylium to thicken the mylk. Added in the frozen strawberries and bananas and blended it, food-processed it, and blended it again with a hand-held blender to finish. Wish I had a vitamix, but in the end it turned out really delicious.
I'd rather eat vegan and look like a tree than eat cow and look like a pig.
