Default Raw Pie and Ice Cream

I really like pie ala mode. I remember the first time my Uncle showed me how to make it. Now my Uncle Stan is married to my Aunt Maria. We were at this place called Jack's for mothers day I think. This place was really cool. They had buffalo in the front in a fenced in area. Is there anyway to make this raw? Or is ice cream a no no?

raw ice cream is a common treat in the raw world.

with a Champion juicer (for example) you put frozen fruit through the homogenizer and VOILA... raw ice cream

I made a chocolate mousse tart and raw mango and passionfuit ice cream the other day for the first time. Fantastic, I just put the frozen mango and passionfuit in a blender, it works fine. I have use a champion juicer as well but am more than happy with the results from the blender.
I am a trained chef and am so happy preparing raw food, it is so much easier than conventional food to prepare and no hot kitchens to work on.

Reason I remember it is I met a girl when I was very young at that restaurant. But my mom wouldn't let me sit with her. I promised her I'd see her again but never did.

It was funny I showed her how to make pie ala mode because my uncle had just showed me. Probably won't ever find her again.

There are many many wonderful raw pie recipes out there! My fave is Alissa's raw pecan pie in Living on Live foods book. Enjoy!
