    Default A few health issues

    Hello everyone..

I have a few questions about the doctor that basically revolve around whether I should go to one or not. I have been getting a lot of mixed signals from the boards via people who aren't for doctors, but then suggest you go to the doctor and get a check up, so I am just a bit confused. I am not 100% raw (can't afford it), but I do juice every day and eat a lot better. I counted all over my body and I have over 70 pink-brown dots all over my body that have not faded away (I acquired a few more actually) and a cyst inside my vagina (did reduce in size after epsom salt bathes). I looked up every possible skin issue it could be and basically tortured myself through thousands of photos of skin diseases.. And I have had the cyst for at least a year now.. :/ But honestly, I had a very terrifying pap smere encounter in my teens and haven't tread into that territory since (which is why I am avoiding it) and would prefer NOT to have to do it again. Just wondering if anyone can offer up some knowledge as to what causes skin and vaginal issues.

    Thanks.

So many things that could be the issue and so many things that could be and won't be.

If you get a check over from a doctor you have some information you didn't have before. You don't have to do what that doctor says but you will probably be able to stop worrying about conditions you don't have. So I would say if you are worried then get a check up. If you aren't worried (not the case I think) then just eat raw.

I am sure there are ways you could find to afford to eat raw. There are lots of things we think we need that we need less than good, wholesome food. In the UK TV is an expensive thing to have. You must have a licence and then if you want a "decent" (I use the term advisedly) selection of channels then you pay for that and on top of that the landline phone is part of the same bill and that adds another chunk on and internet add yet more as well. Just cutting out tv has freed up about £140.00 a month. Maybe tv/telephone/internet is not an expensive where you are but I can safely say that not only do I have more money in my purse for food, I also have more time for real-life than I ever did when I watched tv. There are savings and life improvements that can be made all over. just turning air-con down or off, switching off electrical items when not in use, turning the heating down and wearing a jumper etc etc etc - these all free up money.

I don't have electricity at all. There are downsides but the upsides are immense. Where there is a will there is a way

You might want to see a dermatologist. I would say that dermatologists are more ethical than general practitioners in that if you have a problem they try to cure the disease as opposed to G.P.'s often just treating symptoms and making you a patient for life of the pharmaceutical industries.
I'd rather eat vegan and look like a tree than eat cow and look like a pig.

I know exactly how you feel about doctors. There are very few I would ever trust or believe and as a female, I would rather be sick and die then go to a male "female" doctor (sorry guys no offense, it is what is) But through a lot of research/trial and error and background checks I have been fortunate to find a few really good doctors that I would trust to at least give me an accurate diagnosis of whatever may be ailing me. I would recommend finding a good dermatologist, get an accurate diagnosis of what your skin condition is and then do the research yourself to find a holist cure.

You may have an allergy to something and not even know it. As far as the cyst goes, I can relate a bit. I've been diagnosed with a version of fibroids/endometriosis where my body scars my uteris then goes crazy making excessive scar tissue to try to heal it. It's sort of it's own worst enemy. It's an issue that runs in my family unfortunately, but I discovered that by cleaning up my diet and upping my exercise and weight training I drastically improved the condition.

But everyone is different and everyone responds to things differently. Step one is to figure out what's wrong. Step two is up to you at that point.

    best of luck :)
Where am I? And how did I get into this handbasket in the first place!!??

I am worried, Mystictree, but it is also that the dots are very embarrassing. In the summer it was just dreadful, I wore a hoodie everywhere because the dots are very noticeable and people were staring at them. My rosacea flares up in my cheeks when I am embarrassed, too.

After the dentist and regular doctor I will research the dermatologists in my area.

I had a bad experience with a paps mere when I was 15. It was so painful you could hear me screaming through the halls. It was also a male and I prefer female doctors as well. I have a lot of allergies, so that could very well be it. That sounds horrible, but I'm glad it is better. ^^
