Default What's wrong with my spirooli

I've used my spirooli many times before. It works great. Tonight I went to make my zucchini pasta which I've made many times, and the noodles wouldn't come out. Nothing came out. I don't know why. I wonder if the blades could've gotten dull? Anyone have any ideas? I love my spirooli and I want it to work!

What a bummer! Especially if you were in the mood for zucchini noodles! I only have a spiralizer, so I can't answer your question. But, I have been wanting a spirooli for a long time so I hope someone answers in case I come across the same problem in the future!

I haven't heard of this before... I've had my spirooli for about 10 years and it still works like new.

This may sound silly - but are the holes (in the blade) filled with something that might have dried on? Is the blade in correctly - facing the zucchini? (I told you they were silly questions - but that's all I can think of...)

Those were the only questions I could think of too.

The blades are facing the right direction and the blades are clean. Weird, huh?

Ditto... I can't imagine why it's not making noodles.

Could the zucchini be too soft?

My Lurch has a handle which doesn't seem to mind which way it is set. It seems to serve no purpose at all but apparently I am meant to hold it. It is in totally the wrong place for holding!

Could be! If it is, it's a great deal.
