I agree, only using one of these gadgets can make you fall in love with it. I use it on courgettes, squash, beetroot, kohl rabi. It's my favourite gadget.

RedCedar, so glad you found noodles. If you have the stuff, I made some yummy Asian noodles the other day. Raw soy (brags liquid aminos, namu shoy, whatever), garlic powder, sesame oil, agave/honey and optionally some red cayenne pepper. That and obviously some zucchini noodles. Noodles are such a help for variety.

    MisticTree, how goes it?

I made my pizza over the weekend. It was better that the other raw pizza recipes I have made but it was still a pour substitute.

I made more BBQ kale chips last night. I finished them this evening. God, they are like a drug. This time I made a LOT of the BBQ sauce and froze some. I think its better than the store brand that I used to enjoy. Props to that Russell James fellow on the sauce. I mixed some with shredded yams.

Speaking of are yams OK to eat? Potatoes are bad, I hear. I had the BBQ yams last night and guacamole yams tonight. Figured I should ask given the crescent yam kick.

    Anyway, stay rawsome.

    Hey yau'll!

Just poppin' in for a second. My hubby was admitted to the hospital again after he came home after he had surgery, so I've been camped out at the hospital and back and forth home and to my professional kitchen then back to the hospital and then back home and then.... (you get it, right!!!)

Now he's being treated for dehydration cuz he wouldn't stop vomiting! He's lost 20 pounds in 2 weeks!!!! He's doing better today, though. I have a steady flow of bananas, grapes, Peaches, Nectarines, Sunflower Seeds, and my raw meals. My friends have been wonderful...they have been bringing me lots of fruit I just love them!!!

Anyway, I'll be able to catch up with yau'll once I slow down and breathe! LOL!

    Thx Rob!

I'm still here at the hospital with my Darling Hubby. He's progressing slowly and I'm totally exhausted! I had to go to my professional kitchen this morning at 2am and I just got back. He says when he gets home he wants me to make him a Calzone!!!!! Yipeeee!!!!!! Isn't that wonderful! He said he'd like to eat more of my food! I'm SO thrilled!

Well, I'm gonna get some sleep now. We're gonna be homeschooling in Hubby's hospital room today then I'm gonna walk the kids over to TX Children's Hospital to visit with the sick kids there.

    Have a RAWsome day!

You are juggling so much. I cannot imagine how hard all this is for you. The Lord doesn't give us more than we can handle. You must be a strong woman, Renee. :) Hang in there. It sounds like he's getting better.

Re-rawing my reraw. I started today. I found out when I get stressed I just don't focus on me or what I need to eat. I am stocked up and ready. I had a green smoothie this morning. Sunflower seeds, flax spinach and O.J. Its pretty good. I am trying to make Kale chips but they didn't get all of the way crispy so I left them in today while I am at work.
My focus this week is staying hydrated.
My cravings are for watermelon so maybe do a whole day of just watermelon. Sounds yummy.
I can't wait for this challenge I enjoy ready your posts everyday.
Renee I hope your hubby feels better or at least he's not a big baby like mine when he's sick.

Robh you are turning into a real chef.
    Tracey
