One of the perks to eating a Raw lifestyle is being able to have whatever you want, whenever you want! So, I feel like having my Apple Cobbler for breakfast!!!

Hi everyone, it's so great to see everyone doing so good. Congratulations Rob on making it 30+ days! I've had a busy few days but am still raw. Went to breakfast on my birthday and had a bowl of fruit, then dinner at a friends house where I took a large salad and raw dressing for myself--it was so yummy! I've been cleaning, it feels like, for days. Cleaned and closed up the houseboat. Cleaned the new 5th wheel I moved into. Now me and my mom are going to Sc for my youngest sons wedding. I'll be coming back for a week and then driving back to SC to help them out for probably about 9 months. Since all my kids live on the east coast, we were planning to buy a house there so we'll probably just do it a little sooner than originally planned. Luckily for them, I can continue my college online whereas my DIL can't, and they need a babysitter. I'll try to pop in and out this week to keep myself accountable and see how everyone else is doing. Keep up the good work! And Renee, I'll be keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Hello Amber, another person who doesn't live in a house! I would love to see some pictures :)

Hi everyone, been a while, Im high raw at moment but probably going 100% very soon, just need to get in a few bits, I do have an incentive now as we are planning a secret marriage (lol, dont tell anyone !!) x
Robh - Wow your picture, what a change you look so vibrant and healthy and Samantha is adorable (although not in pink?!!! whats going on !LOL ). Rob did you get your dehdrator is it good??? x
Renee hope hubby is ok, I will be joining your Nov raw pizza class ! x
Hi to everyone else, looks like you are all doing fab ! x

ReneeH, I hope your husband is doing well and recovers soon. With home-school and taking care of him and your business, you must be swamped. Good luck keeping all those balls in the air. :)
imaquillen, sounds like you are going to be busy and on road a lot. Being raw in that situation sounds difficult.
Crystal2870, the hospital did not have pink outfits it seems. The wife is making up for it, though. I don't think she's gone a single day without wearing a pink, girly outfit. Yesterday, she had a little headband on with a bow on top; it was so cute. The Excalibur dehydrator is AWESOME! Though, I have only had time to make banana crepes and raw bread in it. I have big plans for pizza, though! I could have never made a large, circular pizza in my "donut" dehydrator. This one is soooo nice. Now I need to convince myself to let go of enough money to get a vitamix. :) Not sure how many months that's going to take - heh.
MysticTree, how is life off the grid, lately? Our plants, around here, are feeling the effects of fall. The temp has dropped and the leaves are falling. This will be your first winter there, correct?
Not much new here. I'm still eating fruit, having salads and using raw fats to keep my full. Once I can find sometime, I need to work on that pizza idea. I don't have the crust worked out yet. The parsnip bread is on the right track. I saw an almond-based bread that used psyllium husk to achieve a spongy texture. Chia seeds do about the same thing. I think, however, a hybrid approach that uses psyllium husks, ground chia seed, parspins and almond pulp may produce a well-rounded bread base that doesn't have too much of one thing. For pizza dough, I'll add olive oil, salt and sweetness (dates probably because the texture would aid the dough). Before I can get started, I need a nut bag to make the almond pulp and I need to round up psyllium husk (which, it seems, I can obtain from the health food store). I'll also need to make up some "cheese" for the top, but I have all that stuff.
Anyway, I'm rambling. Have a good day everyone. Be strong through the cravings. It's so much easier on the other side. Hang in there. :)

It is, therefore, evident that it is possible to cure by foods, aliments and fruits; but as today the science of medicine is imperfect, this fact is not yet fully grasped. When the science of medicine reaches perfection, treatment will be given by foods, aliments, fragrant fruits and vegetables, and by various waters, hot and cold in temperature.

Doing well. had a craving earlier but I released it with a little self talk and some distracting activity. Read through one of A. Phyo's books today and got more ideas while enjoying breakfast on the deck in the coll morning area for like an hour.
Freestyled my lunch made a Taco Bowl using cabbage leaf lined with spinach then filled with almond nut meat ( load of cummin and a lil chili) topped with heaping scoops of guac and some olives. DELICIOUS! Hubby also added garden fresh Jalapenos and additinal tomatoes to his bowl.
I think I will enjoy a simple smoothie for my mid afternoon snack and come up with another freestyle creation with my cabbage for dinner.
I hope everyone is enjoyed their weekend and being well nourished by RAW Vegan goodness today!
