I love ginger root in my juice. I rarely make a juice without it. I also add turmeric root too! Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, about the only juicing I do anymore is a morning zinger sometimes: celery, apple, ginger and lemon. Who needs coffee in the morning?!

Ginger almost always seems to add something of value to a juice! I always feel an extra warmth when I have it in one of my juices.

I've noticed that ginger helps in digestion and helps to keep the nasal passages clearer. I drink it almost every day, shredded and hand pressed, either as hot tea or cold mixed with lemon or lime juice and water.

the late canadian nurse rene cassie whom came up with the herbal cancer medicine ' essiac ' said the plant sheep sorrel was the best cancer fighter she knew and made it one of the plants in her 4 plant cancer medicine essiac . others being burdock root - slippery elm bark - rhubarb root . but her formula is boiled . you'd have to believe juicing these 4 plants raw would be much more potent . ps - if unfamiliar cassie learned alot about healing from the north american natives of canada

I'm hoping to grow my own ginger when we get the polytunnel. Hoping to get it in time for next year.
