It's been a couple months, but I am back to where I need to be :)

I was doing p90x which I will pick up again in a few days. I am starting over basically. I had to take a 4 month break from that due to working overnights remodeling stores (lots of strenuous physical work) so I was too exhausted to keep up. But now I have much more free time! Can't wait to get into it again.

For now I am walking, and doing some simple toning exercises to ease back in.

Goals for the month of August:

    1. Stay on track with p90x
    2. walk at least 3-4x per week
    3. yoga a few times per week to relax/focus
    4. DRINK MORE WATER!!!!!!

Genesis 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind,
and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind:
and God saw that it was good.

    August 1st.... Love it...

I started riding my bike with my hubby since I can't seem to jog/run without hip pain. We live in Colorado, so there are lots of hills.. ups and downs... :) We rode for about 35-40 min. today and we have Krav tonight.

    Bring it... :)

    Fifty scaled down

    For time:
35 Box jump, 18-20 inch box
    35 Jumping pull-ups
    35 Kettlebell swings, 1 pood
    Walking Lunge, 35 steps
    35 Sit-ups
    35 Push press, 45 pounds
    35 Back extensions
35 Wall ball shots, 10 pound ball

Walked for an hour today with a full body stretch afterward.
Thinking that I might do this as my night routine once the 4th week is up. I just feel really charged up with a lot of energy afterward when I walk. Plus it really de-stress me in a big way. I'll give it a go and see how it goes.

I do love Krav.. Its been so good for my whole family.

Last night at Krav we did a ton of leg work. Lots of kicks (which is my favorite). It was such a good work out. I was totally sweating and loving it.

    Bring it :)

    We did Krav last night..

Today we are hiking the incline.. Its a stretch of old railroad that runs a mile up and covers 2000ft. elevation in that mile.

I apologize if this is a stupid question but what is Krav?

Today I walked in the morning, and tonight I will go for another long walk with the dog. Starting P90 again tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Not a stupid question at all... Krav Maga is Hebrew for Contact Combat and its an Isreali form of martial arts. Its a little more rough and street smart though :)

Did the incline today. Oh boy did that burn. It took us 2 1/2 hours to go up and down the incline. Coming down we did a walk/jog which was nice.

I hit the gym 6 days a week (always taking a break on the Sabbath) and burn between 800-1200 calories each day!
