so I was talking to a friend last night and telling her about my fasting. I dont really give this info readily unless someone asks why I'm not eating while everyone else has their faces full of birthday pizza.. or that sort of thing.. ;) so I mentioned that the hunger is supposed to subside around day 5. she looked at me out of the corner of her eye and said "that's not what my frieeend said." I'm not about to be discouraged, and she wasn't trying to, she was just talking :) she said this girl had a blog and sent me the link.

they were going for 10 days. this woman quit smoking cold turkey and they caved on day 7. her blog says:
The breaking of the fast was snowballing towards me. Day 5 was GREAT, I felt WONDERFUL…Day 6, I felt TERRIFIC! Then Day 6 “night time” hit…even after several juices, I was just plain hungry. All day long I was hungry, all night long I was hungry. I figured, well just get over it…so what, you’re hungry. But this was a different kind of hunger….I can’t explain it. Unless you’ve been there, you’ll never know…it’s the kind of hunger that best describes starvation. Day 7 and I was desperately wondering where all that “energy” everyone claimed to have, was….why am I still so tired and hungry. Sure, I felt great during the day, but anytime I exerted a little energy I was exhausted.
my question: how do I avoid that? she says "after several juices," so I'm thinking she was eating enough. I've seen pics of her juices and she was definitely making some without greens, and she didn't care for the green drinks but was drinking them. She was NOT a raw eater to start. Hopefully since I've been 97% raw for 2 months, I can handle it. today is day 3. I'm really feeling fine- some hunger, but it comes and goes. I wonder if she was drinking enough water. Have any of you gone through this? I'm shooting for 92-100 days, and I do not want to fail!
