    Best place to buy Fresh BARHI DATES?

    Hello,

    I'm looking for a variety of fresh barhi dates. I do live in Florida & wish to buy fresh yellow dates.

    Has anyone had any success ordering fresh yellow dates online? If so, which companies would you recommend?

    Pato's Dream dates are fantastic! See their website page on date varieties.....the BARHI is actually a stage of date development. http://www.patosdategardens.com/varietiesflavors.shtml

    Do you have any farmer's markets near you? I would think in Florida you could find a local source of dates, which would be the best. Try to find contact information on any farmer's markets within driving distance of you and ask if they have a date seller.

    If you cannot find a local source and end up ordering, Pato's does require you to purchase a good amount (a 2 or 5 lb. box) which will need to be refrigerated where you are due to the heat :-) Pato's only ships when the dates are in season - Bahri's will be ready around the middle of September.
