l know at least three people who don't go to bed at all. One person (a certified Saint) hasn't been to bed in over 12 years. Another friend hasn't been to bed hardly all year, and my sproutarian friend has only been to bed two or three times since Easter. All these guys do deep meditation.
l can get down to 90 minutes a night when i'm really firing. When l don't meditate my sleep requirement will double or triple, but i'm sure in time l will be able to get my regular sleep down to 2 hours and possibly be able to do without any sleep when l meditate like my friends do. Good things take time. lf you try going without sleep without meditating you will likely die.

How many hours a day are these people meditating? It's obviously taking the place of sleep.
-
Yes, it does take the place of sleep and is much more refreshing than sleep. The Saint meditates 12 hours a day minimum, the other fellow meditates up to 22 hours a day straight (his girlfirend used to meditate with him 22 hours a day also), and my sproutarian friend meditates 3 - 15 hours a day. Another fellow l know works 12 hours a day, goes to bed at 11pm, wakes up at 1am and then meditates to 7am and then gets ready for work. l try meditating or 6 hours a night, but it has been difficult lately because l have had ALOT of research to do behind the scenes into the law and spiritual activity...got thousands and thousands of pages to write and haven't even had time to do the sprouting website or do the raw food research that l need to be doing. l need 50 hours in the day because l am hopelessly bogged down of late, l can't even post here much at the moment.

If he's meditating that length of time then no wonder he doesn't need sleep. Not more value than sleep. Different value.

The thing with me and my sproutarian friend is that we have decided to make the sacrifice and meditate much less because we want to help people. We could easily be selfish and meditate every spare moment, but we want to teach other people and help make their lives better. Posting here is a big sacrifice, but the higher powers have told me to do it as well as do my website and youtube videos. Quite frankly l would rather not do it, l would rather meditate, but l want to share my experiences and knowledge so people can have what l have too.

if meditating meant you needed less sleep then that would be valid but it doesn't save any time. It takes up more time. I like meditation and consider it valuable but I like sleep and consider it valuable too. Balance is everything.

l find that when l don't meditate l need much more sleep. To me and many people it is more value than sleep. Thing l have observed is that old habits die hard, that's why l find it hard to forgo sleep, but obviously other people have made the adjustment by overcoming a mind full of old habits and can do without sleep, but they have reported it was hard to do at first.

l like sleep and do like my two hours and even more. That's why l don't want to give it up at the moment.
Meditation does take more time but it is well worth it. Meditation and enlightenment elevates the soul soooo much. l now pick up snails, talk to them and pour out my love to them. l feel so connected with the universe and l know that l am connected with the universe and the beings in it. lf you ask the sun, moon and advanced beings for help in meditation they will help you instantly and enhance the meditation, that's how l know l have the connection. We are all electromagnetic and connected and indeed the sun and all the other planets are intelligent beings. l better not say anymore, you guys will think i've flipped my lid. The stuff that is going on in the universe is simple INCREDIBLE!!!..lots and lots of dimensions and crazy stuff beyond your wildest dreams. l am nothing special, we all have this ability when we become enlightened.
The sun is NOT a giant ball of gas, it is an electromagnetic sphere that has intelligence. When you meditate and become enlightened you quickly find that out. l could tell you some people's experiences with the sun but l don't think it's such a good idea to spill the beans...people won't be ready to hear it because it will blow them out far too much.

I have always picked up snails and talked to them.

l know you have, and l will always remember that and appreciate that. You are obviously a reasonably intune soul and have an awareness, not many people do.
l was never a great soul (my soul was always slightly intune but it was low level)...l had to start from the bottom, but boy oh boy have l progessed in leaps and bounds. l remember mentioning 12 months ago that l was going to put up some coppor to stop the snails from getting all over my sprouts, but now l couldn't stand the thought of doing such things. l am feeling such a love for everything now, but l can't count my chickens too early because enlightened souls can easily fall and lose the magic. We have never arrived, we must always strive to progress. We are like little ants today, but we can become giants tommorrow. lf you aren't connected you don't have anything except emptyness and darkness, but that's not a bad thing because we can all bring light into our lives, but we need to be ready to take that step.
l'm getting off topic here so l better keep a lid on it.

I talk to most things and give them names. I sobbed for three hours straight the other day when all our hens were killed. Don't forget to show buildings some love btw. Lots are so sad.

(his girlfirend used to meditate with him 22 hours a day also)
Not to be too specific here, but...isn't that kind of thing an impediment to your spirituality?
l remember mentioning 12 months ago that l was going to put up some coppor to stop the snails from getting all over my sprouts, but now l couldn't stand the thought of doing such things.
I used to hate bugs so much, especially spiders. I killed any spider within 10 feet of me and when I was younger I would amuse myself by stomping on ants and other insects...just thinking about it saddens me now. I stop what I'm doing to watch ants + spiders and other bugs going throughout their day, smile at them and send them love, and even feed them [yup, I feed insects + arachnids, lol]. A couple months ago I would spend entire days lying in the grass watching insects and other creatures just living their lives, and if they crawled all over me I didn't care one bit.
We're all in this together, and really we're all one. Killing ANY living being is committing an unpardonable offense and harming yourself + everything else on the planet. I don't even meditate (well, not Quan Yin meditation), I've just had such a huge expansion in consciousness and spirituality due to eating sprouts + drinking green sprout juice.
Clean out your body, feed it the nutrition it needs, and stop putting toxins + drugs in it and it's amazing what happens. The main purpose of the drugs and toxins in our food + water lower is to lower your spirituality and make it very hard to be compassionate and see what is really going on in the world.
I love every living being on the Earth (including the Earth) so much that it's sometimes overwhelming. Life is better then my wildest dreams.
l'm getting off topic here so l better keep a lid on it.
Nah, the off topic bit is always my favorite part...
--------
I especially love talking to trees and wild animals. They never talk back but I sense that the trees are very wise and could tell me amazing things if I could understand them, and I've had some very interesting encounters with foxes, squirrels and deer. They always used to run away whenever they heard me (and still run away from anyone else), but they let me get very close now and sometimes I get the treat off sitting within 10 feet of a group of deer while they eat their breakfast unconcernedly. I would join them if I could find a way to use my manual juicer out in the woods, then we could all eat weeds and grass together.
Materialism is nothing compared to being in tune with nature and all living things, people really do have their priorities in the wrong order, big time. I wouldn't give this lifestyle up for any amount of money, prestige, fame or power in the world.

It's actually really funny. I'm not just content to turn people into sproutarians, I'm getting all sorts of bugs + animals on them too!
-
Mystic, are you still drinking sprout juice?
-
no. Growing conditions not brilliant. I'm not even eating sprouts just now.
