    Default My current juice is...

...a 1/2 gallon of fresh, organic celery juice with just a few organic carrots juiced with it. It is so delicious. I just had to share. The is the first time I have made this combo alone, but I will be making it again!

I find celery juice quite strong when I add it to carrot and apple. Not sure about trying it with fewer sweet juices with it.

Hmm, never tried that much celery, and mostly stand-alone, too! I usually mix it with equal parts cucumber and tomato, along with a handful of greens, to make a 'green caesar'. What does your juice taste like?

And out of curiosity, how much celery does it take to make a 1/2 gallon of juice? 2 heads or so?

It was very, very sweet. I was really surprised. I juiced 6 bunches/heads of organic celery and just 4 organic carrots. I know my insides are loving are that natural sodium. It's supposed to balance the gut.

My manual grass juicer arrived last night. This mornings juice was wild grass, celery and a little burdock leaf. If you think celery alone is strong...

I have some organic corn coming on strong in the garden. I'm going to try juicing the whole plant when it gets a little bigger. Also some of my amaranth is finally hitting a growth spurt. I can hardly wait to start juicing that.

I also had a little apple juice for desert. Not point in adding it to the grass. I have blended it before and there is no way to really make it taste good!
