*I've been away from here for so long, and finally decided to make RFT a bigger priority, since it supplements my ideal lifestyle - and I find this thread still alive and kicking! This makes me very happy! :) *

Well, I've been able to salvage lots and lots of celery from work, since we use the good 'sticks' and throw out the rest, like the little sticks, leafy parts, and what I like to call the 'butts', the bottoms of the celery stalks. So, all this celery that gets rescued by me (which ends up being about a pound every day!) does very nicely in my juicing. I've been making so much celery-and-apple juice lately! I thought I might get tired of it, but it's so good. Sometimes I add a handful of parsley or some cucumber...

When I'm finished work tomorrow, it'll be a gigantic batch of celery-apple that I'll be looking forward to. And then celery-carrot the next day, I think....

Wonder if I can ever get too much celery?

Actually, it's a fun word to say... 'celery'. Celery, celery, celery. There, I've been looking at the word too long, it's become non-sensical!

And with that, I'll leave you to your regular scheduled programming....

    And Happy New Years, everyone!

I believe this to be one of the best tasting juices i've had so far!

Genesis 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind,
and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind:
and God saw that it was good.

Celery, cucumbers, kale, ginger, and parsley. No fruit to sweeten. I might throw in an apple next time!

My juice today will be pineapple and celery. Organic celery will be at a premium right now as there was a freeze in California. I might have to swap something else....I wonder if romaine and pineapple would be as good?

Hi scottbryan: Can you taste the fennel?

This morning is apple/celery/cucumber/kale. I should have put a tich of ginger to keep me warm. Lunch will be the same as I just made a ton of this. (hard to juice during work!)

This morning I had a whole juice of orange and blueberry then a little later a whole juice of orange, celery and a hint of ginger.

My all time favorite whole juice is orange, pomegranate and a hint of lime.

Apple, celery, cucumber, ginger, kale, Swiss chard, turnip. I got chard and turnip from co-op so incorporated a little. I like it. I put a sizey amount of ginger and it gave juice that oomph needed to send it over the top!
