Yes, I would call those fresh as opposed to the dried, yellow powder you buy in the spices section of a shop! I think I can get it from my local oriental food supplier.

I though I'd try something different for my juice today:
3 carrots
2 ribs of celery
half a cabbage head
Cabage contains a number of important minerals like potassium, manganese, iron, and magnesium.
Juicing it is the only way to make it palatable for me.

Kohl Rabi would be a good one to juice I think. I often eat it like an apple but juiced, you could add the skin as well.

First juice of the day, 1 orange, 1 lemon, 2 small apples, quite a lot of carrots, 1 huge beetroot, 1 stick celery and a few radishes
Offered a mouthful to a work colleague who said it tasted like dirt! Madman!

Hello all,
This is my first post but I joined this forum a couple of years ago (?) I started juicing approx. 1 1/2 months ago, thought I'd start adding some "goodness" into myself as I'm not very good at eating my greens ... so, I was looking for a juicing forum today and guess what I found .... long story short, this was my juice of the day .....
1/2 small red cabbage
1 celery stalk
2 small granny smiths
1 large carrot
1/2 lemon
and a good chunk of ginger
I try to make one juice a day with my veggies and try to smoothie my fruit (excluding apples)
**oops, one rib celery

hello rawtobe. Welcome to RFT.
My lunch juice is carrot, apple, celery, beetroot, orange and broccoli. The broccoli is amazingly good. I must try khol rabi too.

TONS of fresh orange juice! I can't get enough of it!

7:30: Juice = 2 small apples, 8 or so small carrots, one large beetroot, 2 kiwis (skin on as experiment), 1 orange, 1 lemon (juiced), chunk pumpkin. Lunch time juice will be greener :)
