Mad dash down the plot to fetch ingredients for breakfast juice. 1 tray wheat grass, 1 tray pea shoots, 1 tray fenugreek. It was pouring with rain and even with an umbrella we got soaked. All this rushing about amounted to 4 floz each. It tasted nice. I won't go as far as saying it tasted tremendous.

how do you find the garlic flavour is to wash off? I like the idea of garlic juice but wouldn't want it getting in all my juices.

Not had juice yet today. I'll be juicing chick peas, fenugreek and wheatgrass later I think.

i eat lots of home grown foods. More than half by volume tonight was home grown and fresh picked.
I know you do Mystic (and that makes me happy), I was speaking more generally to everyone here (I know it gets confusing when you quote someone's words and then reply generally, but you have to have something to respond to). If people refuse to eat lots of sprouts the next best thing is to grow lots of mature food themselves, which is slightly better then sprouts in terms of food mileage and all but sprouts are os much better for you that they make up for it.

    I already do.
You do??? That's GREAT! I thought you were just drinking a couple oz a day based on some of your other posts. How long have you been doing it?

It's totally up to them but the religious bent that goes with some of the sproutarian talk is, if I allow it to be, (and I try not to let it get to me too much) offensive.
The main proponent of sproutarianosm on here, when under full sproutarian preaching, claims that even sprouts are wrong and that he is preaching something he doesn't believe in. I find this so baffling. How can anyone preach so evangelically about a subject and then say that even sprouting is wrong?
I don't see it as preaching (all of the claims are true, something you should eventually find out if you stick to all of those green sprout juices).

Let me try to clear that up; I don't think he's saying he "doesn't believe in sprouts", he's saying that sprouting is a stepping stool to something higher and is not the end destination. To Mr Raw, the ultimate goal is breatharianism. You probably don't believe that, and that's fine. Mr Raw says that sproutarianism will eventually lead to breatharianism, so to him it's necessary, but still inferior to the end goal. For example, let's say i want everyone to drink 40 oz of green sprout juice every day (and I do). I wouldn't just say, "Alright, everyone go drink 40 oz of green sprout juice everyday starting right now"...everyone would be throwing up and be violently sick because they wouldn't be ready for it. Instead, I might say, "Okay, everyone, ultimately I want you to drink 40 oz of green sprout juice every day, but start with 4 oz a day and slowly work your way up to the ultimate goal." That's how Mr Raw views sproutarianism: "Okay, everyone, ultimately it would be best if we were all breatharians, but if everyone tried that right now you'd all die of starvation. So start with blending + eating sproutarianism, then add juicing, then more juicing, eventually become a green sprout juice liquidarian and eventually after that you'll be able to become breatharian." It's a process.

So you see, he believes that sproutarianism is still necessary, just not the ultimate goal.

I will be watching you closely, Mystic; it has been my (oft-stated) position that one can reap many of the benefits of sproutarianism just by drinking 32 to 40 (preferably 40 or more) oz, minimum, of green sprout juice a day. I look forward to seeing if that is true or not, so I am curious as to if you will experience any of the amazing changes I have (from 100% sproutarianism) just from the juicing. If I'm right you should be feeling amazing a few months from now. Good luck!

The past few days I have been in a dip. No amount of green juice and sprouts seem to help. It's just my bipolar. It will pass.

I usually don't take time to juice in the morning but today I tried an experiment to see how much I could juice in 5 minutes. It actually turned into how much can I juice in ten minutes. I was juicing wild amaranth, and I got about 6 oz of green juice.

It's yummy! I only use 1 clove to 8 cups of other veggies. It's surprisingly strong for even 1 clove, but I do like it.

Hang in there Mystic. The night is always darkest just before the dawn.

I didn't feel the effects of the green juice or sprouts at first, and I doubt Mr Raw did either. It takes a few months for it to really kick in. And not eating 100% raw might make it take much longer, but just do your best.

You might want to consider doing a cleansing program, at the very least a colon cleanse and some colonics. I know that you don't think it's "natural", but it can make a world of difference. A good colon cleanse especially can make it much easier for you to absorb nutrients, and if you're having trouble doing that then it will take much longer for you to feel the benefits of sprouts + green juice.

Sunflower green juice is the best for improving your mood, and chia green juice would probably be second best. I'm always in a good mood now, but before I reached that point all I had to do was drink a glass of sunflower greens and feel better within a few minutes. I'd been a sproutarian for a while by that point, and you should reach it eventually too. When the present is bad, look to the future and imagine how great it is going to be, imagine yourself having everything you want and essentially living your "dream life". While you do that, try to feel the emotions (happiness, contentment, joy) that you would feel if you really were living in those circumstances, and pretend that you really are. At the very least it can dramatically help your mood when you're feeling down.

Finally, I'm confident that the green sprout juice will cause dramatic, amazing changes in your life after a few months (if you stick with 100% raw, otherwise it may be longer), but even if it somehow doesn't then there's loads of other things you can do that will help you get to that point. Cleansing, for one. So don't worry that the sprouts/juices own't do it for you, because if they don't (and they will), then I've got lots of other things up my sleeve that will help. Never lose hope, as long as you're confident that you will eventually get out of the circumstances you're in you can withstand anything with a smile on your face.

sunflower greens were my staple for salads and green juices but then I ran out and kept forgetting to buy more. I have some on the way so I'll see if that helps. Horrible day at work with someone trying to blame me for his failing. I pointed out his unfairness quite forcefully. Things are usually better aired I think otherwise resentments fester. Feeling a little stronger this afternoon but was ready to quit before!

I ran a bunch of thistles through my manual juicer for the first time today. Pretty time consuming cause the needles pierce right through my gloves with ease. Perhaps a pot holder would help? I got about 8 oz of dark green juice. Not exactly fruit juice, but it is the mildest weed juice I have tried so far.

What benefit is there in thistles? I use a lot of dandelion but I have not heard of thistles....maybe I can use those darn things for something good :-)
